She had a boyfriend, now i have no idea

Met someone in December, asked her out and she said she had a boyfriend. I gave my usual response "call me when you break up". Haven't heard from her in 7 months. Today got a text saying hi. My replies were all short, but she didn't mention anything about getting together or the boyfriend. Just went back and forth twice. We are registered for the same class starting in September. No need to put up the convo.

Do I:

1. Ask her out again?
2. Ask if she still has a boyfriend?
3. Do nothing until she mentions hanging out.
4. Never respond again.

The last time this happened the girl told me "well you told me to call when I was single...."

I'm leaning toward #3.

girl texts/e-mails after 6 months saying hi.....

then after 2 weeks...wait here comes the punchline
"hey , can you please do me a favor? "

^ btw they always somehow fit in a smiley in there somewhere, every.fvcking.time.

This. I would go a step further though and invite her to your place so she is in isolation. Anything other than a yes gets the ignore.

Who cares if she blew her chance. Grab a notch on the belt and move on. I'm presuming she looks good enough to warrant a notch. And if so, let go of the ego and take it. Doesn't mean you gotta lock down and date the damn girl. Just be clear about asking her out - and really, you don't know each other, she didn't know you, she had a boyfriend, wasn't willing to cheat - whaddya expect? Now she's free, and she's hitting you up. Take it, man, I wouldn't judge her for sticking with the familiar for a while.
