She broke up with me before our first date!

I met Karen through a friend and invited her to my house warming party where I got her number. This past Tuesday I called and asked her out; she said yes; we made our plans and she gave me her address. Sounds good, right?

Wednesday she left me a voice mail cancelling the date. The message was two minutes long and she said that while her first impression of me was that I was a "fun guy" that we were in "different places" and that I seemed to like to drink and party too much and she couldn't handle that and thought we were incompatible so she had to cancel the date. She spoke for two minutes and babbled a lot. It was like she was breaking up with me....but before we even went out!

This is one for the record books, I'm sure.

But we did not fret; I made my date with Karen for tonight (Friday) and already had another date scheduled for Thursday, which went well.

Some will, some won't, so what? So who's next?
