I have very fine and thin hair. It can be styled, but only when it's the right length, and I am using like a fiber or wax. Gel doesn't seem to hold well, and makes my hair sticky and even thinner looking. I have ignored this problem for almost a two years now, resorting to always wearing a hat. Needless to say my hats are only making it thinner, and I look pretty good when I do style my hair. The problem is that "good hair" days are very sparse and inconsistent, and dont usually happen for me.

I've come to the conslusion, I'll probably bald eventually, but right now I am young and have a decent set of hair, and I'd like to do stuff with it.

In terms of salon-valued products, what are some shampoos I can use along with styling products, for a fuller set of hair???

I have been reccomended Biotene.. anyone use it??

Thanks guys

Get on Nizoral ASAP. Jason's Thin to Thick is a good thickening shampoo. Toppik is a good concealer.

Nizoral is for dandruf though right???

The Jason's thin to thick is pretty well priced... You can get the shampoo, conditioner, spray, and the revitalizing gel for like 30 bucks.. Have you used it or know anyone who has??

Also, I looked at the toppik as well. Interesting concept... If you rubbed your head though, would a bunch of flakes come out though??

I'll post what was wrote in the latest Men's Health:

An International Journal of Cosmetic Science study found that dandruff shampoos with 1 percent zinc pyrithione (Head and Shoulders) or 1 percent ketoconazole (Nizoral) slowed the shedding of hair by 10 and 17 percent, respectively, and increased new hair growth by 7 and 5 percent. How? Researchers aren't entirely sure, but they suspect that both active ingredients keep scalp pores clear of sebum, a fatty oil that can irritate hair follicles, causing hair loss and stunting the growth of new hair.

My hair thins too, but only during the winter months. I use the loreal vive daily thickening shampoo, or if I dont feel like dealing with it, I get a crew cut although it gets cold out. For my dandruff I just use Nizoral every now & then.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

bro i know what you mean...i lost half my hair at the age of 9 and grew out most of it but its hella thin.

there are 3 shampoos that ive used that have worked miracles.

1) Revivogen ($15) i get it from a clinic in Socal...but you can order it online i believe if you search revivogen

2) "green shampoo" ($15) also from a hair transplant clinic in socal...if you want pm and ill pm their number

3) Herbal Green Tea Shampoo which i got from costco ($11) worked really good too.

as for hair styling products i know i prbly have less hair than you but yet when i style it...it looks more....I use Tressemme extra hold hair spray, and gel...they work pretty good.
