So I was at my friends wedding and I met this girl who I have been growing up together with. She's was my neighbour from we were 8 to 18 and we have alot of shared friends so we still keep in touch, but only meet 2-3 a year during summer and christmas when all of our shared friends comes "back home". Never seen this girl as a potential girlfriend or someone I would try my moves on. I could pretty much tell immediately something had changed. She poked me, gave alot of eye contact and smiles. She even brought up that something was gonna happen since we shared room at my friends house (not the same friend who is getting married) for the wedding infront of everyone else. It felt a little weird since I didn't expect this to come from her, but I played along.

Fast forward to the end of the wedding, everyone had a great time and we're back home at my friends home brushing our teeth and getting ready for bed. So she says that my speech was very good and I give her a hug and say thank you. While we hug she says: Wanna share bed tonight? Moments later we're laying in bed and when that happens it's hard for me not to touch her and ofc escalate. Needless to say things got pretty heavy even though our friends was sleeping in the next room so had to be alittle quiet. The next day both of us acted like nothing had happened when we were together with our friends. She told me I needed to keep shut about it or else this would create the gossip of the decade, atleast for now. Ofc everything was my fault (lol, gotta love that one)

After this weekend I feel I'm looking upon this girl completely new even though I know her. She doesnt live in the same city as I do so we've just spoken on the phone a couple of times after this. Those calls have been going pretty well with laughing and some flirting intermixed with us talking as we have for the other 15 years.

I thought I was in the friendzone with this girl as this came almost out of the blue and I've never been in a situation like this before. Normally I have my girlfriends or woman I date and then I have my more friendly side towards others. Here I'm not sure what to do as I feel she falls between two chairs. Is it a good idea to follow this futher? Any past experience?

Enjoy the **** out of it, keep a mental picture and enjoy the fact that you have a piece of fun a couple times a year now.
