Serious help, i need $420 by the 5th of january

I live on my own now , basicly to make a short story i lost my job a few weeks back and now i need $420 to pay my dad for some bills that i pay every month , i personally hand him the money every 5th of the month.

I have a new job now but ofcourse i am not going to get paid until 3 weeks from now since i just started today.

Is there anyway that i can get a loan from a bank or anywhere for $420 before the 5th? I need serious help. Even if its $300 it will help too.

America, America. Only in America would a son struggles to find money to pay back a dad. Try pay-day loan. From what I heared, their interest is pretty high though.

Pay it late. You lost your job, but rather than being a pvssy you got a new one straightaway, and have a paycheque coming in fairly soon.

Tell him for this month you are going to be two weeks late with the payment but this will be the first and only time it happens.

Failing that, and I think 90% of people would buy that argument, try and get a credit card. You'll be able to get one very easy. If you pay it off in full when you get paid then you will not incur interest either.

oh please belive i do not plan in paying little by little, i will pay the loan at full on my next coming check, credit card how long does it take get a credit card?

At least in the UK, around a week. Not sure about the states but I'm sure its similar.

Another option is ring up for an overdraft. You can get that instantly.

Go to any pay-day loan office, and if you have good creadit and get approaved, you should get your money within 6 minutes....

Pay day loan offices are a bit dodgy though. That should be the last resort. $420 will probably end up being $500+.

A credit card or overdraft is a far better way of going about things.

You need to ring up your bank first, say you need a $1000 overdraft, say, see what they say. I don't know if its common practice in the States but I imagine it is. But yes in principle thats how it works.

I'd also suggest that you sort out your bills yourself. Have you considered this? A utility company would be far more leniant than your father by the sounds of it! They are not going to call their lawyers for missing one $420 payment. Best option I'd say is to say "Dad, I want to sort out my own bills".

Well, it depends on your creadit. Many banks won't let you transaction an overdraft if you have bad creadit... the best solution is to talk to your dad about it....

In the UK most banks will give you £300 no questions asked, thats about $550. Really, I don't know much more about how it works in the US so set your alarm, get up and go to your bank.

I've got nothing better to do tonight and so I've checked the Bank of America site about credit cards:

You'll receive your card within 10 business days upon approval.

I imagine that smaller banks will be quicker.

Sell something you don't use often...get you a little bit of cash.

Damn dude use your head man. You can always sell some stuff on Ebay or borrow money from friends. Hopefully you have friends that trust you enough to let you borrow money. Try to borrow from a bunch of your friends so it'll be easier to pay em back and they're more reluctant to let you borrow the money. Just make sure you pay them back ASAP or you'll lose their trust and they'll never let you borrow again. A easier way is to borrow money from a bank, but then you gotta pay interest and they also have limits depending on ur credit score.

yeh i think ill be able to come up with 119 by the 5th before i was in panic, but a few prayers and god came thru quick, i know hes gonna come thru again.
