others have already mentioned this b4, but i think a new section, devoted to members say over 30, or over 25, or some such age would be good. it seems many member are in their teens and early 20's, and i think there is enough difference for guys who are in their late 20's, 30's and 40's etc. that there are some subtle distinctions to be made in dj ing. do others agree?

what do the moderators think?

There used to be a forum for older DJ's. It wasn't popular so it was discontinued.

The High School forum was created though to address the younger DJ's.

Topic moved to Suggestions forum

Actually, bringing back the "Mature Man" forum may not be a bad idea. A few years ago there were only a few hundred active posters, and even fewer were over the age of 25. So I understand fully why it was discontinued.

But nowadays, active posters number in the thousands. Because of this big increase, there just might be enough posters to support a "Mature Man" forum this time around.

At least its something for Allen and the mods to look into.

I'm all for a 25 and older section.

It's hard to relate to the DJ's out there in their teens and early twenties when the same discussion about college dorm room chics, meeting girls during frosh week, taking a girl home to mom's house, etc. keep comming up.

The mature DJ has different aspects of his life that make women a challenge: balancing a career and women, dating younger women, kids, divorce, etc.

It would be nice to have a forum section where advice to these topics are more 'user friendly' and easier to find.

yah this would be great, under the general discussion rules (Discuss meeting, dating, and attracting women with others. Ask a question or give advice.) you could add: also NLP - based discussion, not that ive anything against the unusual techniques forum but it seems to be struggling at the moment.
then you could replace the unusual techniques with an older members forum and see how that goes. ( that would only be if you want all your discussion forums busy, i dont know how it works)
just a thought anyway.

Here, here.

Maybe 30+ "Mature Man" is a little far. A 25+ "After College" forum would be of benefit to a lot of people though. It's a different game post-BBA.

Sorry, senility occasionally seeps through when I forget to take my meds... ;)
