scared of aids

hey pals,

yesterday I had sex with an 34 HB, I was a bit drunk and tired, but I asked to use a condom when we were getting started, she brought one, we put it on, but then all of a sudden, she felt uncomfortable with it and removed it. I was too "paralyzed and tired" to react, so we did it without, later on, I spoke to her.

me: Hey, you not scared doing it without condom?
she: no, I use a coil as a contraceptive (know what I mean?)
me: what about aids?


she: I saw too many of my friends die on aids.

that was her statement, she didn't gave me a direct yes or no.

me: so you always do it without condom?
she: I did it with you, cause you look so cute and you are somehow a "little boy" therefore I knew it was not danger with you

you know noone says she has aids of course and there are no signs like: she is a crack*****, prostitute or a druggy/junky, but I feel scared,because we did it without condom and now I am worrying, can you guys understand me? I never did it without condom, cause I was always scared and now i feel uncomfortable.

here are some details I have noticed:

-she is 34 ( mature and therefore should know what to do)
-has got one 12 year old daughter (indicates responsibility)
-has a single household (indicates again responsiblity)
- has got 2 cats in addition to her daughter (indicates again responsibility
- works at the air port terminal (her wallet is full of credit cards, so she doesn't seem poor)

what dou you guys think? should i do an HIV test after 8 weeks or so?

please help

don't worry about it man. Statistically, by having sex with a HIV infected female, being male, your chances of contracted it by only have sex once is less than 5 %.

If you want peace of mind, go get yourself tested.

Wait six weeks, then get tested, because it takes at least that long for the virus to be detectable in the blood, provided of course that you did in fact get it.

Don't worry. But the next time give a chance to condoms. You can also stimulate her more by using a particular kind of them, so it's also possible to easily convince her into it.

For ease of mind, get your HIV test as soon as possible.

thanks so far for your help, but I've heard it takes 12 weeks, until there are antibodys in the blood, which are necessary for detection.

what about oralsex? we both had it too.

HIV is very, very rare for situations such as what the OP described. A person is a million times more likely to get HPV or Herpes.

The REAL facts are HIV is a fag/intravenous drug user disease. Over 95% of infected people are either fag (gay male) or intraveneous drug user. Finally on the very very slim chance that a straight female has the disease it is actually hard to transmit to a male. Even if you had intercourse with an infected women, your chances of infection are only in the 5% range, whereas if a women has intercourse with a male, the chances are more like 95%.

However public health will not go around preaching the truth because it is not the socially correct thing to do.

Yup. Totally true; yet, you have almost nothing to worry about, regarding HIV, but don't go ahead and continue doing it with strangers with an un-wrapped salami.

If you've had sex with several partners, you've most likely, (90%+ chance) you've already had HPV and already cleared, or probably is too low to be detectable if there was a test. That is part of having sex, so it is no big deal; only a small percentage will actually develop warts and visible outbreaks. Every guy who will respond in anger at this statement, probably has it, had it, and didn't even know it, never will know the original source, and it is now undetectable.

You do want to be careful about Herpes, since it is also transmitted and most people are not even aware that they have it. Again, the ods are greater of being transmitted than HIV, so use the condom.

The point is: There is no need to stick it in un-wrapped.

so she is a single 34 year old (baggage) with a 12 year old kid (baggage and issues) and 2 cats (issues) who takes home guys that are closer in age to her daughter (issues) and fvcks them without a condom (major issues at her age)


don't be stupid dude, go get tested.

i wouldn't be worried about AIDS though, i'd be more worried about herpes and stuff (chances are much much more of you getting that)

other STDs (other than AIDs, Herpes, HPV) aren't that bad though, mostly treatable with antibiotics.

although i object to your homophobic use of a word fag, you are largely correct.

I can't understand people. They talk about HIV/AID and other STDs ALLLLL the time. But stupidly, many of us make excuses as to why we didn't use a condom. And then we wake up the next morning and are scared; thinking that we've contracted some sort of STD, instead of just taking the 99% safe way and used a condom, we risk it....why?!!....USE THE CONDOM....reach in your pocket and take it out of the package and put on your D!ck....it's not hard!

My last ex is alergic to latex. We used polyurethane condoms until we both got tested. The material works just as well as latex for STD and prenancy prevention but it's much thinner - so thin I thought it slid off more than once, but it was still there. My ex couldn't feel it either. The only downside is that they are twice as expensive.
