A few months ago I was dating a single mom, she was considering getting back with her ex-husband and I ended up dropping her. Now I been seeing a new girl for the last couple months. Everything has been going good but, a few nights ago she told me she isnt ready for a relationship right now and thinks its better we're just "Friends with Benefits". Since she added in the benefit part I'm assuming i'm not entirely in the friend-zone. Though when she said that, it makes me wonder if I am going to the friend-zone or is she keeping her options open or wants to keep me around her own agenda?

Personally, I'm getting to the point where I'd like to possibly settle down and find my future partner. If that actually happens.. :rolleyes: Is it too early to even know or care with this chick or just keep having fun and see where things lead and keep my options open?

Yeah this a red flag if you are considering for long term... Just keep fvcking her but don't make things long term with her. Don't over think it. She isn't girlfriend material, just bang her, have fun, and look for better options. Ya dig?

Just for reference and out of curiosity did she say this after y'all started banging or before?
Did you sense at all that's all she wanted...
How old is she?

Glad you dropped the single mommy btw.

I don't see a problem here. hit it while you're looking for something more long-term. Or send her my way. You can be the friend and I'll be the benefit.

@logicallefty - Haha

You all brought up good points. I was over thinking things. Its good to read other input. I'm just gonna have fun for while or maybe just see her less and search for someone more compatible with what I'm looking for. Part of the weeding process I guess.

She is telling you "you are mr. Right now. Not mr. Right."

Tell her she has a deal. F^ck her on your schedule, not hers and go date new women. She is dating other men. Go spin plates.

Are you f*cking her or not? Just because she said so doesn't mean you're actually getting the benefits.

Consider her to be an escort that is giving up free samples.

@hockeyplayer and SpeedDawg, yes we have been intimate the last couple months. Come to think of it, most relationships end within the first 8 weeks :rolleyes: Unfortunately I think she just wants to go out and explore and not be tied down. And thats okay, no hard feelings. I'm just moving on with my life and will meet another girl who wants something just as equal. And the next one will be all over me! ;)
