Saying "baby", "honey", etc.

I've been curious what's this boards opinion about using words such as "honey", "baby", "dear", etc. when talking to your girlfriend?

I've been in a LDR for over two months now, everything is going well. I don't call her some days and yet she still calls me two or three times that same day, so I know her IL is good to very high. I've started calling her "baby" alot recently, and "honey" sparingly. Do you believe I'm giving it out too liberally or does it not matter really?

I enjoy doing it, but I've learned that in the dating world you can't always do what you want.

I heard from some dating show, I think it was the love line by adam corolla and the other dude, they say that calling a woman by her name is much more mature and gives men more respect from their women. But they were talking about calling her by name while fvcking her, so I have no idea.
