Hiya guys, i'm looking to bulk up some more, but haven't put much on in the last few months. Anyway, i thought i'd buy some protein powder, so i've got some sanatogen high protein powder. I was just wondering if anyone else has used it and if its ok to use? Cheers

I have never heard of that brand before. It looks like a basic casein protein which is good during the day but most prefer whey post workout.

definately check out www.trueprotein.com and www.trueproteincanada.com (true protein canada) to see which site ships to you cheapest. Look into blended proteins to supplement your daily diet (if your current diet isnt enough for your protein needs). They have pre designed protein blends so take a look at them. feel free to send them an email tell them how you want to use the protein and what blend they suggest...or post something here. They will be able to give you a better answer though.

I would recommend a strong re evaluation of your diet though. If you arent making gains off what you are eating, tossing back some whey after a workout isnt going to make the difference.

I managed to put some weight on a couple of years ago by changing my diet and working out three times a week. I have started doing the same now, but i'm not putting much on. I am working hard this summer to put some more weight on. I have eggs and bacon in the morning, tuna or egg sandwiches in the afternoon and then a meal with meat, potatoe and veg. I have just started to add a pasta meal in the afternoon. I also drink a lot of water. I was thinking some protein powder may supplement my diet. I will have a look at some other protein products as well. Any advise on how to improve my diet would be much appreciated. Thanks for the responses.
