Sup guys,

I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

I'm looking for sample HIIT routines. Anyone got a link? I am interested in a jump rope routine, but any other samples would be cool too.

Thanks

Ah, HIIT is fabulous. I do it when I am getting ripped for the summer.

Jog 30 seconds
Sprint 30 seconds.

Start with 3 minutes and add a minute each week until you are doing around 8 minutes.

Forget skipping or biking, sprinting is fabulous and sends your heart rate through the roof. I swear I feel my lungs explode after one of these sessions.

Matt,

Do you think 3 minutes initially is enough to start seeing results? Most HIIT routines I've seen on the net have been like 20 min

3 mins is when you start, cause your body is not used to that kind of cardiovascular punishment. as you gain more power, you up the time. 15 mins is the longest ill go for tho, i dont like long cardio

I know for sure I'm going to be gasping for air by the end of this. I want to make sure that 3 - 8 min is enough to see good results.

AFK,

So you do 5 min warmup, the HIIT, and then 5 min cooldown?
