I know that some steroids are safer than others, are there any that are safe or what is the safest one to take? Also has anyone used a product called ANDRO-SHOCK?

I'm not touching this subject but I will ask this.

On this board we've got kids asking whether creatine is safe to take or not, go on about stabiliser muscles, who think they're gonna accidentally wake up as Markus Ruhl after a couple of weeks of working out, and use special K as a carb source.

What sort of constructive answer did you think you were gonna get about steroids?

Well let me put it this way...
Why are you considering steroids? Maybe you want to add some mass quickly... but then i ask,
why do you work out?...maybe you want to improve your physique...or whatever the reason.
If you start steroids, you will take the "fun" out of training and get to your goal much faster...and then what will you do?

I agree that steroids are like any other drug, if you overdose then its dangerous! But if you know what your doing (and i mean if you have done proper scientific research) then im sure you will be ok.

I am not against steroid usage, however i am not for it either. Messing with your hormones is a not recomended...Can i ask you if you have done any background research?

Well I wasn't thinking like go full out on them, just use a little to boost gains b/c I gain very slow. I was going to get Creatine monohydrate with American Whey, but thought I may get better results with a safer steroid. I know the negatives, I just want to gain 15-25lbs then cut up, i'm in good condition I just want more mass before rugby season, so I only have a few months. I've learned alot so far and am anti-bodybuilder look, but I don't think i'll get the results as fast with Whey and Creatine, although i've never used creatine before so idk how well it would work.

dude do some basic research. you can gain 15-25lbs naturally no problem, in about a year.

post your diet, training. better still start a journal and we'll help you out

unless you're eating 20-25kcal x bw and have gone up to 2g per lb protein and have continually made strength gains over an appreciable length of time and STILL haven't gained anything, then you have no right to say you gain slowly.

My strength has gone up alot, iv'e read alot of your articles also. I used to get about 250+g of protien a day, but i've dropped it to 200-225ish. I don't have a year, I have 3 months. If I gained 15lbs in 3 months that would be fine. Would that be possible with A.W. and Creatine stack with a 1.5g protien ratio and 4-5k calorie diet at 155. I'm also cut now and want to be later, I know my bf will go up bulking, but the weight I want to gain is 15lbs muscle+ fat weight, then i'll cut it down. I've read creatine gives fake muscle but would it help gains if stacked correctly? And i'm guessing I wont get a steroid recommendation based on responses, so if I could get answers to these last questions thread should be closed, thanks.

why do you have 3 months? if you are not genetically predetermined to gain at that rate (15lbs in 3 months) then steroids will not help you. it is a tall order for most people, I would say 6 months for that goal. hell, gaining 20lbs of pure fat in 3 months isn't easy.

could you do it? aided by beginner gains and if you do everything right nutritionally and training-wise then yes, it's possible if it's in your genetic makeup.

first bump the protein to 300g and calories up to 3500-ish.

now post your routine.

guys in that age/weight range are generally either the best or worst trainees.. they may be totally willing to learn and work hard and not question you (because they're 15-18 and 155) or they think they know everything and nothing you say is going to help or stick with them at all (because they're 15-18 and 155).

Ill admit I do look for quick fixes, but only b/c I gain slowly. Im 16 btw. Ill post my workout routine in a few mins.

Mon: Bench Routine (3 sets of max bench, then max pushups repeat)
Squat x3
Curls x3
Incline Bench x3
Abs
Back Extentions (I think they are called) x3

Wed: Deadlift x3
Reverse Deadlift x3
ABS
Back Extentions
Flys x3
Weighted Pushups max x2

Fri: Same as monday.

It varies occasionally, like one week a may switch bench with something from wed or something, but thats basiclly it. I eat a 20g protien bar directly after workout and have a meal about 60-80g withing an hour, well I start eating it at least.

Dude, at 16 your testosterone levels should be through the roof naturally ... wouldnt be suprised if you get hard-ons every 20mins as a result of that :crackup:

Anyways jokes aside

If you've just started working out then do everything properly (i.e. diet & rest) and you should be making gains in no time. Make a journal!

When you say 3 sets of max bench, does that mean as many reps you can do, i.e. to failure every set?

And what's a reverse deadlift? lol.

Your routine isn't the worst I've seen I will admit but could be better. You can go push/pull/legs or upper/lower or something like that. Anything basic and heavy will get you gaining but I would not take the lifts to failure.

'Where To Start' has some good routines and so does stronglifts.com

Yes its to failure, and a reverse deadlift is a deadlift when you have the bar behind you, saw it on i think bodybuilding.com not sure, but it had moving pics of a ton of lifts, you probably know the site. I'll change my benching back to normal. Ill check out thier routienes, and would you recommend creatine or would that be a waste. Thats the last question I have, i'll post a journal once I get my supps which will be a few days.

reverse deadlift you mean a hacksquat.

you are not gaining because a) you're not eating enough and b) because you're trying to failure all the time.

stop your training 1-2 reps before failure and see the difference!

creatine can be beneficial if everything else is in order. it is important for skinnier, possibly hardgainer guys to have their micronutrients sorted because their weaker immune/digestion systems are often a reason why they don't gain so well..
