Ruiz V Toney

This is prob the closest major fight coming up!

Jayer and you other boxing nuts on this site, what is your opinion?

Toney looks FAT, and I mean FAT! Ruiz however, has a poor punch output, is very innacurate, does a lot of holding and does from time to time throw in a nice bodyshot!

Can Toney take his punch? I think so. Toney will also make Ruiz miss and outland him. I say a UD for Toney by about 115-113 margins. That is if Toney comes in even half in shape!

Opinions?

If Toney does take this fight, just shows you how damn poor the heavyweight division is! Two former middles both coming up and winning the heavyweight crown! Or possibly shows us how great Toney and Jones really are. I think its a bit of both!

I think Ruiz is past his prime. It should be a similar fight to Ruiz vs Holyfield.

Toney is too quick and just are more skilled technician that Ruiz.


I'll go out on a limb and say Toney by TKO!

Although if Ruiz fights dirty it could be interesting....

Yeah, Klit is going to fight Rahman I think. I personally dont follow the heavy division much anymore (it just sucks).

Tito V Wright will be awesome, cant wait for it! See Mosley take care of Estrada, nice solid win, but Mosley is definately way past it!

I cant wait to see Chico V Castillo and especially Kid Diamond V Casamayor! Its good to see the kid finally step up his competition, he is a solid all round fighter!

Change of prediction. Ruiz by UD. Toney weighed in at 233, for Holy it was only 217. Toney looks REAL FAT!! I think he will looked drained and lethargic like in the Jones fight, where he just plods around the ring, not showing any great boxing skills. I say Ruiz by UD. Toney is a lazy azz, especially for a fight that could give him some HUGE paydays in the future should he win it and do so impressively! Fool!

Yep, most were calling Ruiz, especially considering how fat Toney was. But then again, hugging Ruiz just doesnt have a high enough punch output or the skills to beat anybody of note. No wonder Tua KOd him in 16 seconds! Finally Ruiz has been cleared of the division. Now hopefully we can see Klit V Toney, hahaha, man that would be funny with the size difference! Toney V Byrd could be very very interesting, considering both formerly fought at middle and both have decent skills. Although Toney V Klit is definately the big fight!

Oh well, another prediction wrong! Man, that is like 3 in a row now I think. Although I would prefer Toney to win, much as I hope Coralles wins in two weeks, although once more I think Castillo will.

Power is awesome man, its definately the great equaliser! Tarver has made his fame alone from two one punch KOs! Man, what a fight!!

I just hope Coralles doesnt get too ****y and step up against Tszyu in the junior welters! A rematch would be awesome, or perhaps a Mayweather V Coralles rematch (should Mayweather beat Gatti in their upcoming fight). Man, boxing is heating up right now!
