Rude Old People!!!

Can anyone tell me what is up with Rude Old People latley?! it seems to me that they are jealous of the young and want to prove how better they are then us.

Example: I was buying some hanging flowers in a basket (for mothers day of coarse!) and I place it on a counter so I can pay for it and before the transaction was complete an old guy who was waiting in line took it off the counter and place it on the floor and said:" don't put in there, It takes away my space for my plants" - I was about to flip on him but I didn't, he was no match for me (I gave him a dirty look and snickered to myself shaking my head as I left)

A Couple of months ago I was working out in front of a mirror in the gym and some old guy who was working on another machine 15 feet away from the mirror told me "to move the fvck out the way he cannot see" WTF is this??????!!

I know for a fact that I am tall and muscular but I do not look thugish and I know that those old men would probably not say a peep if a big mean looking dude was doing the exact same as I! Should I have told them off? or threaten them as well?? Am I an easy target because I don't come off looking mean or scary??? Will those old people feel better that they can still push around a young adult in order to feel better about their life??!

It's not you, it's them. Many old people don't have anything to do, so they find satisfaction in looking down on young people and throwing the occasional abuse at them.

Its more of an ego-boosting exercise. Most of the ruder old people tend to be the ones who have failed in life, and need their egos pumped.

Sounds about right. Plus senior citizens figure that you are not going to beat them up because their fragile essentially. In Washington D.C. recently there was a guy who beat the **** out of an 83 year old woman street vendor. It's been all over the local news because it is just sad to see someone do that (they caught the guy a couple hours ago).

Really what is up with SOME rude old people?

1st incident: i'm walking behind an old woman at the bus stop and she seemed to mutter under her breath: "fvck off" or something. Whatever.

2nd incident: i'm walking down a hallway minding my own business. There are also other people walking down the hallway. All of a sudden this old guy in the opposite direction is walking towards me, and right when he passes me he seems to mutter under his breath: "fvcking ....... (dont know what else he said)". I thought I was imagining things.

I don't know how much of that can be attributed to racism (I'm Asian by the way, and the old people were Caucasian in appearance), or just plain old rudeness, but damn that sort of behaviour is quite a negative contribution to society.

Don't get upset, old people are slowly losing their minds so their preception of reality is definately skewed. I myself look forward to being old and mean one day. Drinkin whiskey, on my pourch, yelling at the neighbor's kids to stay the hell off of my lawn.

but really if you flip on them or you don't, it won't make much of a difference. They're so old they've probablay been yelled at several hundred times, so I doubt they'll give a f*ck about some young whipper-snapper mouthing off at them. The last time I got pissed at an old dude he was just like "yeah yeah whatever kid" and went about his buisness. It's just the natural order of things my man.

It's not always old people. It's middle-aged people as well.

I was waiting outside a store for my woman to pick me up. This middle-aged woman walks by me to enter the store. She looks at me and says, "You look like an a55hole!" I said What?? She responded, "Nothing.........(muttering) look like an *******"

Not that long ago, I was at my buddy's social. I was outside having a smoke and chatting to a couple of older ladies. Some guy walks out, looks at us, and says, "Stupid people!"

I swear, some people forget what it's like to get a good a55 kicking.

I hear what you are saying but Its not natural being old (in nature weak individuals due to age, end up succumbing to diseases, hunger and predators and very few end up dying the natural way).

Thanks to modern technology and science you can live past the age 70+, however there are still laws of the jungle that are previling (just like sexing a chick).

An old weak man/animal will never challange a stronger younger male then him because in nature the old indvidual will probably not survive the combat. Now I am not suggesting to fight senior citizens for being rude, but is there a way to not make yourself a target or saying something clever to them that will make them think twice???
