Room mate beat his drug test!

I can hardly believe it myself but my room mate passed his drug test! What makes it hard to believe is that A. It was a hair test, supposedly un beatable under any circumstances. B. He was not clean in anyway, he smoked a phat blunt the day before on a golf course. C. He paid like 20 bucks for a hair detox kit, which seems kind of cheap to me (I've seen kits go for like 200 bucks before).

The point is he just got the call saying he passed and he should come in tomorrow to process his information and start his training. Nevada has one of the strictest drug testing policies for non governmental positions in the country. The hotel he applied at (Mandalay Bay) bounces people via drug testing ALL THE TIME.

I guess there's hope for users after all, that's not to say that quitting or at least cutting back wouldn't be the better of the choices. I stopped smoking weed like 5 months ago an I haven't looked back... Maybe when I move to Miami and am living on the beach but for now I'm just not down.

Why the hell would he smoke the day before he had to take a drug test? I realize he probably didn't know it was gonna be the next day, but he most likely had to know he was going to be taking one at some time or another because most jobs that drug test upon hiring say in the application that they include one.

Uh, if you smoked up the day before, I doubt it would show up on a hair test as hair takes time to grow.

Sounds like your friend won't last long at his new job if he continues to do what he's doing.

What's more important?

Making a living, or smoking chronic?

Okay guys let me clear this up right now. He was applying for a job at mandalay bay. He was very well aware of his drug test. He's been smoking dope (and some other things) for well over a year straight now with no down time ie he was NEVER clean for more then a week and that's only because he couldn't get any drugs. The testing center he went to has caught people who have been clean for as long as a month. The testing they do can test for over 1 year. Yet he used a cheap detox product and came up clean.

He didn't get lucky, he beat it.

here's the best way to pass a drug test:

immediately after getting high, drink lots of milk, then stick a finger deep down your throat, puke all around. after this, take a crap and a piss. the day after, right before the test repeat... it'll work, i swear!!!

Not likely, When they take a hair sample from you they make a file that includes your pertinate information. Your name, your DOB, SSN, where you're applying and whoever is doing the hiring re confirms all this information when you are called back. It's highly unlikely that the lab tech confused his samle with someone elses and had them switched accidentally or something along those lines. These testing companies charge the HR departments alot of money for drug screens so accuracy is assured.

He lost his job the night before last!!!!!! He was caught drinking on the job twice while on his probationary period! He worked for exactly 7 days!!!!

and here I am, NOT smoking weed, holding down 2 jobs! Me not doing drugs = 2 jobs. Him smoking weed = 0 jobs. I hope some of you get the underlying message here.
