I am reading this now, i have been meaning to read it for a while

http://rationalmale.wordpress.com/2011/12/06/professional-mothers/

and It got me thinking.. what if they had male contraception like women have? Like what if you could take a pill and it just made you not nutt, or made the nutt stirle or something like that

lol, society would ciest to exist in 50 years lol. Hell I even admit while i love my son to death and would do anyting in the world for him, he was not what you would call panned. Hell I wasn't planned by my mom or dad.

Which brings me to my point, if you follow the money / motes, I bet they could do this if they really wanted to. I am sure of it. It's just in societies interest not to. I mean **** we can cure smallpox, fly to the moon, take pictures of other plants in billions of light years away, you mean to tell me we can't make *** sterile lol? come on man

They do - its been in testing for decades and most probably works.

Problem is: what woman would trust a man when he said 'yeah, I'm on the pill'.

Case closed.

I don't give a damn if she trusts me or not.

men's only option of contraception is to put a latex glove over your **** or to literally go in and snip away your insides. It's like they said "okay, we don't want your **** to fall off, here is a bone, wrap this fvcking latex glove around your **** if you just have to have sex"

my wife goes to get a shot every 3 or so months. in and out, like a freaking drive thu.
and you are vastly mistaken if you think men would be lying about being on the pill lol. fvck if antyhing you would have men lying to women telling them they don't take it.

you mean i can take a pill for 50-100 bucks a month or whatever, and there is NO way I can get a woman pregno? where the fvck do i sign up! you would have men camping out at doctors office like a new iphone was about to come out for that ****.

they know if it were up to men, and men's decision to have kids, alot of indudires would be in dire straights. doctorfs, baby doctors, the dudes that deliever babies, the entire baby industry, women banking on baby dadies, social workers.. a bunch of people would be ougt of jobs.

not saying all guys would not have kids, but we would have them on our terms. very few kids are born on the fathers terms. Honestly i can't think of one. I wasn't. My sister was a result of my mom having one too many drinks(so she says) on her birthday when a man took her out on a date, my 21 year old brother is a result of my dad cheating on my mom, my 11year old brother was probably the only one I can think of that was what you would calle planned, but hell my dad had 2 sons as it was and wasn't married. you can bet yr ass he would have been on that ****. Dont' get me started on my 25 year old cousin with 3 sons

a whole freaking family, wiped out because of male contraception.

Male contraceptive medication already exists. The simplest one, believe it or not is testosterone. There are some unconventional physicians out there who will prescribe a dude testosterone for birth control purposes, and it works pretty well. If you want to know the pathophysiology of this, see http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/014067369092416F.

There are also several other pill designs that have been developed and demonstrated to work. But they never get brought to market. It's very interesting. You'd think someone didn't want men to have their own version of "the pill".

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

This actually hints to why we don't have male birth control: women would flip out if they couldn't control when and how they get pregnant. Happy "accidents" would be a thing of the pasts. There are no less than a dozen versions of male birth control being developed, some of which have been stuck in "testing" for 20 years. It's political suicide for male birth control to come to market because whoever makes it happen risks alienating the biggest group of voters: women. I think we'd sooner see Mandatory Paternity Testing before a type of male birth control.

Yeah you beat me to it. Testosterone underwent large-scale clinical trials in China a few years ago. They found it be just as effective (99+%) as oral contraceptives are in females when used properly.

I think it would be difficult to market. Would I take it? Hells yeah I would. But trying to convince the medically-ignorant general public it's not going to make a man "less of a man" is a tall order. Plus I think compliance in men would be poor.

So taking testosterone would make a man less of a man? Sounds like female logic to me. I guess estrogen makes a woman less of a woman, by using that example. Oh silly me!

About time to start a nation(world?)wide movement for male birth control. Snip the tubes or get the pill. I'm not afraid.

A male contraceptive would be the smart man's boon to poon. No smart man would even admit being on it, letting a woman think she was in control all the while having the security and peace of mind of knowing that she is not. Two of my friends have had vasectomies for years, they never tell girls about it, they have good jobs and money. They think it's hilarious when some chic tries to put a baby on them. My one friend is a complete bastard, he waits until the baby is about to be born, demands a DNA test and tells her he's sterile after it comes back and that she's a stupid ***** for trying to play him. A dish best served cold.

This is what the world of smart men with reliable contraceptives will look like.

damn that's some cold blooded **** right there lol. though deserving.

We are probably going to try for one more here in the next year or so, I want a little girl pretty bad. But after that, there really is no reason for me not to get one. I'm out after 2 kids. There is no reason to keep the live explosives around if there is no war going on.

My mom's doctor told her not only that she couldn't have any more kids after me, but that when she did get pregnant again that my brother was a girl.

i've been saying it for a while now, the best ourse of action fo rguys these days is to put some sperm o ice, just in case, and then get a vasectomy and never tell anyone.

Pregnancy issue covered - check! Now if they could do something about those damn STDs including the ones that can kill you. (reference to fvck*ng random chicks without a raincoat on a regular basis)

Find a way to fvck raincoat free with NO worries, then we can talk. Until then, it's nice to have the pregnancy thing addressed, but it's hardly the half of it.

At the end of the day, you're going to need to be wearing a raincoat anyway, and when used properly, they work just fine on preventing pregnancies.
