Hey guys! I've been away for a few months because of school, but I missed the site and now I'm back. Since then, I got a position at the admissions office & I see all kinds of people and situations and his is where this log comes in.

Today I was taking a shuttle bus from the music campus to the main campus. I spotted a couple of HB7's and I overheard the following conversation:

(There was a guy outside that they thought they knew)(1=chick#1, 2=chick#2)

1:Oh my God is that your friend?
2:Nah, that's not Brandon, but it really looks like him!
1: I was about to say...how did he get here so fast? Does he dress like that?
2: Haha...kinda. He's kind of annoying.
1: What do you mean?
2: I don't know how to explain it...he's just...not manly enough
1: Ohhh...he's a pu$$y!
2: He just annoys me. He's boring and asks "Why are you staying up so much," if I say I'm tired. He's so annoying!
1: You should make him your boyfriend
2: Fvck no! He's too weak. I only see him as a friend. He's the gentleman type.
1: I rather have an @sshole who's interesting than a guy like that! Besides, a gentleman is just not the thing. I like a guy who is high-spirited...and I can actually enjoy fvcking him ; ] Does he drive?
2: Nooo...psht... (both of them laugh implying what a loser Brandon is)

Lessons to be learned:

- Don't judge a book by its cover. Chicks are not as innocent as they seem (trust me, these two looked like they wouldn't kill a fly).

- If women have these conversations in buses, imagine what they say about guys when they are by themselves.

- Be a man for your penis's sake and don't let any woman control you.

- Get your game together, dress well, drive a decent vehicle and be the first you that you can be!

So very true, thanks to you guys and some work myself I've finally bolstered my own self worth and am about to dump my stupid ass "girlfriend". I let her disrespect me and walk over me for too long being AFC, I was stuck in the "be a gentleman" way. Giving her ****, being "nice".

These ways are completely wrong. This is **** your mom and grandma tells you, I was raised pretty much just by my mom. Which probably explains why I am a recovering AFC. Time to man up guys.

It's funny because although I (and all the guys on this site) realize this to be true, it's still shocking and yet refreshing to hear.

How our mind can define our kind--oh...that rhymes!

I took a Child development class this Spring and it was a wonderful experience.
I find psychology fascinating; it's the one thing I'd do for free for the rest of my life and that's why I'm majoring in it.

With that being said, let's get to the realization:

My professor has a PhD in psych. She's the kind of woman that can put the kid you had with that UG who is restless and hyperactive to sleep!
During class discussion she mentioned something very important that changed my way of thinking. She said "attention is THE most searched after thing in this world in all species."

-Ever seen the canine police officers and how they act like obedience machines? Most of them are trained on a you-obey, you-get-to-play basis.
-A hot babe in cries because he's probably hungry, tired or cold. He wants his mom to come over and give him attention.
-That baby you saw in the street the other day that caught you looking at her not long ago was wearing that outfit because she wanted you attention.
-Sports championships make the winning team popular, which in turn, yields a great amount of attention that can be used to sell gear.
-A woman weeds you out when you give her what she wants all the time. She will chase after you if you give her only a little at a time. Be a real DJ!
- If Maserati's were everywhere and Hyundai's were rare and expensive, most of us would want a Hyundai.

Lesson to be learned: Use the attention you give as currency and put your h0e on a budget unless you wanna get ditched!
