Response to a flaker

As part of my work its ingrained into me to keep my appointments and be on time. So naturally in my casual life keeping meetings and plans are just as important to me.

A girl I'm mildly interested in texts me and asks me to hang out. We make a time and date for next Tuesday. I had a suspicion that she would forget or cancel on me. But seriously... she's not working or going to school, she's got nothing going on in her life that would make her too busy to forget.


Come Monday next week I get a text from her: "hey i totally forgot about tomorrow, but we can still hang out if you want to"

My reply: "If you've forgotten then don't worry about it, maybe write it down next time"

Thoughts? Anyway you would've changed it?

p.s. Chick didn't flake. She was testing to see if you were still interested. Instead you kind of went off on her. She's probably used to being chased. You had her where you wanted her. Then you kind of f'd it. My opinion. BTW, my above response would have disarmed the whole situation.
