Resolving Disputes By WhatsApp Or Text Is A Futile Exercise!

Something I am currently experiencing & something I have experienced in the past.

People/females who bombard you with their greviences in a text message, under the impression that somehow they will get their message across.

I don't even attempt to engage in such conversations.

This is only my opinion, some of you might disagree.. I believe conflict or greviences should be either discussed over the phone, with an actual conversation, or alternatively meet up in person and talk things through.

Anything else, is simply talking over and on top of eachother.

Yes...too many things via text can be taken out of context and can be twisted to fit their current mindset.

Unfortunately, this is something I've fallen into in the past and it's a mistake.

Different mediums work better for different people, I have a bit of a temper and a quick qit so sometimes resolving issues via text is much easier because I am better at holding my tongue.

The problem with text is you do not get the tone and inflection you do with voice, and because of this there can be misunderstandings.

How articulate the woman is here is going to determine how she responds to text based communication during a disagreement.

As well using voice notes is a good way to flirt because she cannot pre-screen the message, she has to open it to hear it

It must be a cultural thing then. Here voice is usually used. Then calling people via video is very popular, and you speak for all to hear with this option. There are also groups in whatsapp and on telegram, for city for example, people shoot and share car accidents and other situations in the city, for appartment complexes, for schools, for classes, etc.

I booked my appointment with dents via whatsapp, over text though. I did my visa to europe over whatsapp as well.

I have observed that text messaging and DMs have replaced a lot of in-person or telephone interactions in recent years.

This happens in many interactions, not just mating interactions.

It's not good.

Arguing on text also gives them fuel to muse over and refer to forever. It’s constant kindling in the fire. The only time you should really reply is when you have to directly refute an allegation and at that point it’s up a creek anyway.

I never looked at it from that angle before.. They can always look back at that negative interaction & it's a constant reminder to her, on what an uncaring "Narcissistic" boyfriend you where.

I use to argue with women or try to change a woman's mind via text etc in the past. Like you OP know now it's a futile error. The last two women I dated seriously broke up with me via text. I find it disrespectful but welcome to 2020s.

I recommend not going back and forth with women via text or voice mssaging unless the app deletes said messages after they listen. Even then women can screenrecord etc. Why? women love to save messages like this to share and gossip with their friends. Also you have women now that go on these facebook groups "Are we dating the same guy" and post said messages as evidence. I don't even tell women my last name or real name until I met them (I'm talking OLD). There are a lot of weird, socially awkward or batshyt women on these apps. A girl I was hooking up with on and off for 4 years. Last time I saw her in 2015 said she still had text messages of us from nearly 8 years ago. You know crazy that is? In the future I think #metoo will have a resugrance because you have women who like to save stuff like this.

It’s a shame.

Any time I respond on text it’s always to either say take it to personal convo, or refute and frame the narrative in a way that leaves me in the light I want to be shown to a third party, because believe me she’s going to show it to someone.

They’ll run for cover in person and then they’ll kick your knees on text, gas light and bait you, and refer back to it for months if not forever. This reminds me a little of the thread about fighting for frame, she wants to own frame and is maneuvering to do it on text.

They show their friends when you flirt with them and call you a simp behind your back, and when the conversations go sour they take it to the bar and they cherry pick it with their friends and they laugh at it.

So my texts are largely either sweet, move to change the venue on serious issue, or clear up why they’re toxic and end the dialogue.
