REPORT: im trying to set up a 1st date, i need ur DJ HELP

heres the background:

i met this HB8.5 at a party last friday (i kinoed, CF, neg hit, number closed, i was drunk, dont think she was, IL is questionable, about avg) i met her b/c she smiled at me out of no where after i made 1sec of EC then i approached her later (i was going to the bathroom before this) and talked to her/her CB girlfriend for like 30-60 mins (dont know exact time, i was drunk) and got a wingman to deal with the other chick then number closed her, called her monday, she didnt answer, i left no message

called her tonight (thurs) we talk for 10 mins, shes excited to talk to me, i CF and get her to laugh, neg hit her,
she seemed to have a high IL on the phone and asked what i was doing tonight without me asking her at all and was asking all these questions

she (i didnt ask her about her future plans) "so what are you doing this weekend"

me- "theres this dance im going to tommorow, you should come with me."

she (i dont really remember what she said but it was like) "i think i can go, did you not have anyone else to go with?"

me- "well i was going with someone else but its a long story and i want to go with you"

she- "hmm, sure ill go (she needed a dress or somin nice) but i dont have a dress ill have to get one from a friend, let me try that and ill call you back"

me- "alright, but i gotta go now so i might not pickup"

she- asked where i was going etc

i tried to keep myself mysterious and busy

she then calls back 30 mins later saying she got a dress and for me to call her back in the morning

i called back when i got the msg (same night) and no answer (prlly too late she went to bed)

how should i play this? i cant read this girl for anything and im usually pretty good at reading girls

how did my convo go? should i have said some stuff differnetly? i was going to try and end the convo but she beat me to it by saying shed call me back lol

normally i would have said nah ill call you back tommorow but this thing is tommorow night so i thought this was better

plz put in your info fellow DJ's, i need your help

sounds like you are in with a grin so far brother

1. she asks what you will be doing, most cases this is showing a desire to get together again - why would she ask (twice!) if she wasn't interested what you do
2. she wants to know if you got someone else, or at least hinted at such
3. she got that dress lickety-split, no flakiness - it was not a cop-out excuse

and you tell me you can't read her??

i dont think you should have said anything differently at all... except perhaps not lie about things - just in case you lied about not being able to pick up the phone later and having planned to go to the dance with someone else... ahh but maybe that's just my policy
let us know how it goes

call her and say you were calling to setup where u guys were going to meet or pick her up, and what time. This way it show you have a reason for calling.

If she doesnt pick up leave a message telling her thats why you called.

UPDATE

she called back the next day and is excited to go with me (she got the dress and called me before i called her to tell her the plan for the night which i said i would do)
