I have wrote on this site in the past on how my goal is to start a family. I always thought I wanted to replicate, pass on my genes.

A few month ago I read the Selfish gene by Richard Dawkins. He pointed out that, yes you may pass on your genes, but your grandchildren will only be 25% of you. Eventually as your gene passes on & on through the generations…you will be long gone.

I already try to make the most out of life, but now I going to enjoy my life even more than I did before. To be honest I feel like it’s a weight of my shoulders.

David de angelo recommends the following books -

Who am I by Steven Reiss

Influence - the psychology of persuasion

Comedy writing secrets by Melvin helitzer

The Mating mind by Geoffrey Miller

The Red Queen by Matt Ridley

Think & grow Rich by Napolean hill

Mastery - The keys to success & long term fulfillment

Frogs into princes NLP

Bad Boys by Carol Lieberman

How to be the jerk women love f g sharks

The rules (this book is about womens rules for dating)

Feel the fear & do it anyway by Susan Jeffers

Actually just buy David De Angelo's E-book "Double Your Dating" That's a great start.

You are just contributing to society by making a kid. Your grandchildren still have your name or if you have made a big business then this shall carry on with your grandchildren or if you have a house or an old car ,these things will stay as long as you want.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but aren't there some genes which are dominant and will always be passed on? Been a long time since Grade 12 Gregor Mendel genetics biology
