RED CROSS-Katrina

Hurrican Katrina sucks, and I want to help out.

My friend called Red Cross the other day and said if you take two three hour courses they will fly you down to New Orleans or someplace to help out. I think it would be a great experience and for a very noble cause.

My question to everyone is have you ever done any volunteer experience like with Red Cross away from you home, if you have tell me what it was like and if you think it would be worht it going down there for about 4 days-I would stay longer but I have to go to class.

Any thoughts and comments will be greatly appreciated.

I have been finding ways to help them (ah, it's just me as usual). I'll stay for as long as I can.

I don't think what you heard is factual, however. We've been hearing that there are too many people already; they're already getting in each others way. However, maybe you know something I don't...
