rate the posts

i think the ratings should be more systematic. i have seen the 4/5 stars on the bible posts sometimes, but i think it should be more systematic. every post should be rated by mods from no star useless post to 5 stars must-read star. it helps to see which are good to read and which one to stay away from.

i think also the message icon should be more expressive and set up by the mods. joking post -> joking smilie. bad racist post -> hands down. f*cked up guy -> weird smiley...

now, i don't know if it is technically possible. or if they have enough time rating all this posts. there should be more mods then or "sub-mods" that do this business of rating.

---> all of this would tell the "i-don't-have-a-clue" guys or the crazy ones that they are taking the wrong path. what do u think of this ?

Honestly it's too much work to do. There's so much new posts and mods can't go and spend the whole day reading all the new posts and think rating for them.

Your idea isn't bad though. I agree all the forums are filled with crap and it can be really hard to find anoything usefull these days.
I don't even think anyone even MAKES good posts anymore.
Ok. there's few guys that make some brilliant posts but the glory of finding something new along experimentation is all gone forever from here.
People used to be excited and actually went there and tried things out and were more open minded to do some own research too.
