Anyone ever have had this happen? I walked in to a bar, it's a neighborhood bar and has a pool table. I walked to the back towards the pool table. Two people were playing and one woman was off to the side with a stick, I asked her who got next and she responded it's doubles. I said cool, she didn't have a partner so I ended up being her partner. During my shot she looked at me and was like i don't like you and shook her head. I was thinking about how I didn't even know her at all. Did I remind her of an ex? Was my personality too intimidating? We ended up loosing the partners game.

Question is...why did she say this? I asked because I might need too make an adjustment/refinement for myself, screw her. Just curious what could have triggered that response from her, it was random as hell?

"I don't like you too."

"The feeling is mutual."

"Ugly women usually feel that way about me."

"Okay."

I'm thinking we missed some of the dialog and/or body language.

Note, the sentence "I don't like you" contains the subsentence "I like you". So she might have actually been attracted.

But if someone tells you they don't like you, believe them.

Obviously you weren't intimidating as she told you to your face that she didn't like you.

You weren't completely "random" as you interjected yourself into the festivities of her group.

She was a random bittch who was looking to pick a fight with a guy, probably because she was dumped and single and missed arguing with a guy on a regular basis. Why do certain chicks pick fights? Why does the rooster crow? It's just in them.

Random girl " i don't like you." Trying to pick a fight.

You. Shrugs shoulders. "Sorry sweety i'm already spoken for. This is just pool." Spread grin across your face.

No way to tell unless I saw her body language. She could have been drunk... drunk chicks can be pretty stupid.

My experience is that normally when stuff like this happens out of nowhere she's attracted to you at some level, she might have had a BF and wanted to toss out an insult just to make sure you don't try and game her. It's how chicks filter out dudes.

The best way to respond to stuff like this is to joke about it.

Her: "I don't like you!"
Me: "Awe... and here I was thinking we were going to run off to Vegas tonight to get married"

Then see what happens, otherwise smile and ignore her.

Agree with @bigneil. It usually means they DO like you. This has happen to me countless times.

"Good...I'm only interested in pretty women. Glad to know I won't have another stalker!"

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Always read their sub-sentences and pay attention to what words they use. Their words and sub-sentences reveal what they really think.

My last relationship ended suddenly, with one last conversation. In hindsight, the language she chose was very positive.

(Suspecting things weren't right, I told her we should just be friends and she wrote)
"Neil... I'm in love with someone else..." (this contains the sub-sentence "Neil I love")
"I would love to still do modeling with you...but the dynamic would need to be very different." ("I would love to still do you" and "I love you")

(I said congratulations on her new love and that we should meet one last time so I could give her her portfolio, and she replied)
"Thank you, I would love that. I'm just so happy that you've been a part of my life and I want to make it up to you in any way that I can" ("you I love" and "I want to make you")
"Ok I'll meet you today at 3. I still have a heart next to your name in my phone. See you soon, love" ("I'll meet you today" and "I still (heart) you")

(When she tried to reschedule, I said no, and I said goodbye and her last words were)
"I was only trying to reschedule because you said I could. Let me know if you change your mind." ("you and I" and "reschedule me and you")

Notice how she used the word love many times, a heart, and uses both of our pronouns? In hindsight, I can see that she still had strong feelings for me at the end. I still needed to walk away, but I don't have any bad feelings toward her. It's like when your grandmother drops dead you think "thank God she didn't end up in a wheelchair for years".

Dominance. The pool girl actually liked it. Probably said it because you were not like all the other guys she usually meets..…
Probably short circuited her regular bar game so she spouted that krap.

I would have shot back with either
  • "I usually have that effect on lesbians"
  • "You're just saying that so we can have awesome hate sex"

"Okay..." then look at her and make her feel uncomfortable.

Then continue doing whatever you were doing. Sounds like a bad attempt at flirting. Every woman who has said this to me has slept with me.
