hei guis, im on mi laptop which is missing the y kei, i just used the virtual keiboard for that one, so please bare with me.......

Aniwas, 3 dais ago i woke up at about 9 AM, showered got readi, headed off for a job interview. I dont have a car or a ride so i had to walk. As i was walking down the block on the side walk, 2 police officer cars were on the side of the road because thei had pulled someone over. A van full of mexican people... there were 3 cops.

Aniwais, i was looking sharp, dress pants / shoes / tie / jacket ETC. I clearli looked like i was going to a job interview. As i was walking on the sidewalk, i began to get closer and closer to the cop cars. I was about passing them up, when one of the cops in the vehicle said "hei come here". I approached him... then another cop approached me and went a bit crazi cus i had mi hands in mi jacket because it was freezing cold outside in the morning...

Aniwas, cop appraoched me and asked me where i was headed, andi told him i was going to a job interview, and he asked me where, i told him at a starbucks which was about 6 blocks down... and he asked me if i was going to walk there, i told him that i was goin to catch the bus.. And ever 3 or so answers i gave him he asked if i was lieng to him.... and i said no, at this point i was pretti pissed off andi thought it was complete bull sht that i was putting up with this cus i didnt do anthing wrong, but i know not to argue with cops or i would get in more trouble... aniwas, the cop ,told me to spread mi legs and he put mi arms behind mi back with mi hands together as if i was about to be arrested, i thought wtf? He then asked me if i had ani weapons or drugs on me and i said no.. and he said that i better not be lieng... again.. wtf?

Ok so im patted down and im clean.. Then thei began asking me if i ever been in trouble with the police before, or if mi friends have, wtf?, and thei asked me if i ever been in juvi.. i said no... and he told me again that i better not be lieng to not lie to him.... WTF? ok so aniwas, thei asked me if i should be in school right now andi told them i was 18 and graduated... and thei didnt believe me. I didnt have mi ID on me because i was in a rush and i couldnt find it so i left the house without it. So thei asked for mi name and address, and mi social securiti #,and thei checked it and i had no warrants and mi age was true. So thei said i can go to the job interview now... bi then it was 14 minutes later, and i missed the bus, therefore i got the second bus which arrived 24 minutes later, and iwas late to mi interview..... which looks bad... bi the wai i didnt get hired.....

im latin, mexican/ panimanian.... what do u guis think of this?? am i just paranoid or was i realli a victim of racial profiling?

I don't think those cops had any reason to stop you. You weren't even dressed like a thug. I would file a report if I was you.

How do you know you didn't look like a drug dealer dressed-up to the police, or because of your race/appearance you may of been seen as a danger since they stopped some mexicans. You may of been there ring-leader and could of blasted the cops or anything.

Unfortunately these things happen. Sorry it did and that you were late.

Next time cross the road before you get to the police. :)

Welcome to America....

I think it was racial profiling. Crossing the street would of made the pigs even more nervous and made him look even more suspicious. Thats just the way the world is though. I'm black and I grew up in inner city Chicago and have seen some cops do some racist ****. One time this cop cold ****ed my friend across the face with his club while shouting racial slurs, while his partner held me back just laughing.

You just gotta learn to beat the system. Most white people probably don't understand what minorities go through with the police. It doesn't help that we have a bad rep to begin with.

We still have it a lot better than blacks did back in the day though. My great grandfather was beaten to death by cops in Alabama because he was driving a nice car.

Honestly... If I had the chance to kill a corrupt racist cop and get away with it I would do it in a heartbeat...

I'm Latino too.

Write a letter (with good grammar, etc.) and provide the exact details (try to remember the names of the cops) of what happened and how that negatively impacted your ability to get employed.

Then mail the letter to your local newspaper...a copy to the Chief of Police...and a copy to the Starburck's head quarters in Seatle.

Do not show anger in the letter. Simply show a little frustration. And be as articulate as possible. Get it proof read (preferably from an English Teacher).

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

1. My bulls.hit meter is on alert.
2. S.hit happens, things could be worse.
3. I'm a extremely strong advocate of racial profiling anyways (I'm latino).
4. If it happens again, maybe you can complain. But hell...all the cops know is they pull over some mexicans in a van, then you come waltzing up with your hands stuffed in your pockets. They're probably just looking out for their own safety. Can't blame em for that. Doesn't matter how you were dressed, this is the 21st century...crooks are getting smarter and smarter. Just because somebody is wearing a tie, doesn't mean they're not up to no good.
5. My advice to you is relax, everything is going to be okay.

You always have the right to refuse to answer questions. One good question to ask is "Am I being detained?," or simply walk away and make them stop you. As soon as they detain you, they have to read you your miranda rights, and the questioning becomes a 4th Amendment activity. If you ask to leave, and they say no, then anything you say before you are mirandized is not supposed to be used against you in court. But if you have not asked to leave or been told to stay, then your words are considered a voluntary admission, even if they are interrogating you.

So the magic words are "Am I under arrest? Am I being detained?" If they say no, then walk away. If they say yes, then you just changed all the rules that they are supposed to follow. This makes it harder on the cop then, and easier on your lawyer later if you get arrested.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miranda_warning

"police are only required to warn an individual whom they intend to subject to custodial interrogation at the police station or when detained."

Comments like these are a big part of the reason WHY police officers react the way they do, and utilize racial profiling. You complain about having a bad reputation, while posting on a username implying that you promote Assault with a Deadly Weapon on women. I mean, advocating the death penalty for being racist? Change begins from within.

hahaha...."change begins from within" okay, this is coming from a guy who refuses to change anything about himself. Deus, if I could kill your member name and get away with it, I WOULD!!!!

I WISH I COULD CHANGE FROM WITHIN!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I still stand by my comments. My username has nothing to do with anything. Do you know me or know what I have been through? You think I just woke up one mourning and decided to hate all police officers? I don't hate ALL police officers. Just the ones that abuse their power.

Now go talk to the wall....

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
