I quit smoking about a month ago. The problem is now I'm getting acne all over my face. When I smoked I seldom had problems with acne. I use a cleanser (cetephil) and a moisturizer everyday, but it doesn't seem to be working like it used to.

Anyone been though this? Any tips?

Hmm it might be your body doing some purging/cleansing or something
i'm assuming ciggs, yea?

you should add a BP product to your regimen if it looks like it's not going to stop fully, www.acne.org products worked _wonders_ for me so maybe you can check it out. read the articles on the site too, they offer good tips

It's your body clearing out all of the carcinogens and toxins from your body. The acne should subside in a couple of weeks once your body gets used to not having nicotine.

acne is a skin disease caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units . Severe acne is inflammatory, but acne can also manifest in noninflammatory forms.Acne lesions are commonly referred to as pimples, spots, or zits.acne is a abnormal skin condition .now you can remove through the online .

Your skin is still in the healing process. This is not that uncommon. And congrats on being nicotine free.

Yes its is contaminents trying to get our of your body, but there is a better way to help control it.

Drink a gallon of water throughout a 12 hour period, the blood that travels under the dermal layer will carry some contaminates away instead of popping out of your skin.

second. its very common for people to eat more once they stop smoking. So I'm going to assume your doing the same. Take a break from all variety of fried foods and drop the soda outright along with chocolate and overly sugered snacks.

This is not a miracal cure, but it will help reduce severity of outbreaks until your body is cleansed.

I also recommend scrubbing your face in small circular motions gently with soap and a coarse washrag 3 times a day.
