My abs are a little less developed than my other muscles...probably because I used to do sit-ups (4 sets like I do for all the smaller muscles) all the time which aint really a good exercise..so I started doing crunches and now leg-raises (Im not quite sure what u call them..maybe knee raises?u know those that work out your lower abs..) and do 4 sets of crunches and 3 of those leg raises(?). However I was wondering whether btoh those exercises work out alle the abs (just stress the upper / lower part more)or if they work out almost exclusively one part (and probably the middle abs anyways...?).
My second question would be what yall did in order to increase the exercise intensity of crunches? I used to do weighted situps with a weight plate behind my head cause it worked way better that way ( I had read u should place them on your chest though). Did you do this for crunches too? I mean there comes a time when u do too many reps and should up the intensity of crunches (/leg raises) right?
Any other suggestions?
