Question for myspace pimps

I threw my personal ad up online at myspace since it doesn't cost anything. I have a sponse from an HB with next to nothing on her profile (Female, Single, 32, Pisces), but some nice pics. Here's our correspondence so far:

Just wanted to say Hi! I read your profile, I like your honesty

Me:
So you have a kickass haircut, but what else do you have to offer? I hope you're more interesting in person than you are in your profile.

Thank you for the compliment. I really like your direct personality.. you must be a lot of fun to hang out with I'm kinda new at this not sure how much info I wanted to just put out there. but my picture is there so I probably should write a little about myself


The "you must be a lot of fun to hang out with" is an obvious indicator of interest. How does an experienced myspace player follow up here?

This one acts like a personals newbie who's hesitant to give out any personal info, so that's why I ask. But screw it, you're right just ask for the number and be done with it.

He didn't say anything bad about her. He complemented her on the one thing possible to be complimented. He just commented on the fact that she hadn't updated her profile with her details, and obviously she knows she is more interesing than that.

No self-esteem? Maybe she actually knows what she wants? By saying what he said he showed he was selective (to some extent) which is infact very attractive to a women.

I think you're not reading into the sub-communication.

I've got 5 myspace profiles of a hot chick (one in each major city within the USA). I get emails sent by studly looking guy every day thinking they're talking to a hot girl. The only guys who send me emails similar to his back handed compliment are skinny tattooed weird guys and angry ugly white guys.

Me: If you're interested in finding out how much fun I am to hang out with, tell me 3 things that would make me want to get to know you better. That seems like a good place to start.

Her: ok well, I'm a very honest, down to earth girly girl.. I like to be spontaneous...I enjoy doing a variety of things like going to a Bears game, out for some fine dining or just staying home to watch a movie (probably lifetime!! kidding) with a glass of wine and I Love to Laugh!!

Me: I'm impressed with your list (as long as you promise to never mention Lifetime to me again). I can be a little slow with online correspondence, so what do you say we continue this on the phone? My number is below, or you can send yours if you're more comfortable with me calling you.

From my experience if you have two personalities - one for online and one of the real world, it will not do any good.
She meets you, and feels "ha! this is not the guy I was talking to....What to do? NEXT!".
It is a very likely scenario.
It is much better to keep the same style online and in real life.

She contacted you first, right? If so, then she knew what she was after and she must've been attracted to your pic and whatever's on your profile. I'm with Eric, I don't see jerk material being all that successful online. I know you said she was dull, but why don't you post details of how you lead to the fclose, you know a LR a la ASF style..We can learn from that.

My entire ad profile is a spinoff of Style's personals game ad. He had his entire personals system posted on the Thundercat site but it's been removed for whatever reason. It's available on David D's 'Meeting Women Online' program in greater detail where his is a guest speaker.

He says repeatedly in that program that his personal ad approach is ridiculous and why it works makes absolutely no sense, but most stuff that works in the game is very counterintuitive. His ad is so crazy that he couldn't even finish reading it to the live audience with a straight face. He had to call someone up on stage to read it for him.

He doesn't post a photo of himself (nor do I). He posts a SKETCH so that women won't disqualify him based on looks. Once he's qualified her, he sends a pic of himself in a magazine to project status and social proof (I made a pretty funny one with Photoshop and a scanner). I'm decent looking, but nothing special and I have to game to get broads like most everyone else.

When you meet her, you have your friends with you to project social proof, then ditch them, isolate and close (Mystery stuff). Chicks respond to status and social proof like we respond to tall blondes with big breasts.

Style (Neil Strauss) is considered the best PUA there is. All of his sh*t flat out works. Here's a good link on him:
