What's up Diesel! You have great advice on here for getting in shape and I wanted to know what you think about my program.

I just got back to the gym yesterday after a long lay off because of a back injury, and I am looking like a fat fvck right now. The program I came up with for myself consists of every other day weight training and cardio on off days - the short/high intensity kind that you are a strong advocate of. Right now I am 6'3/285 with a BMI of about 32%

For now I am just trying to get my conditioning back, so I am doing supersets of Chest/Back - Biceps/Triceps - and Quads/Hamstrings. 3 sets of each exercise. Planning to add on more as I get comfortable again. Do you think supersets are the way to go to promote faster conditioning and getting the fat loss ramped up? Or is there something better that you would recommend for my situation right now?

On the Diet side of things I am eating 5-6 meals a day 40/40/30 ratio of Protein/Carbs/Healthy Fats.

Any advice you can give me to accelerate leaning down and gaining muscle mass would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance bro', you are the best!

-DIESEL isn't around here anymore

-it doesnt matter if your doing supersets or not only thing that matters is that you train HARD

-the only thing that accelerates fat loss is EPHEDRIN, and accelerates for mass gain are STEROIDS which diesel would both not recommend. so take the long and hard way or dont even try

-DIESEL refers in his cutting guide to

Carbs: 1-1.2g / # body weight
Protein: 2g./ # body weight
Fat : as little as possible, take one tablespoon of flaxseed oil with protein and no carbs before bed.

so use some common sense, your

40/40/30 ratio of Protein/Carbs/Healthy Fats.

is NOT like in DIESEL'S GUIDE, so he would think it SUXX

whatever, i hope you will take the long and hard road and improve your body, and it will be fast enough if you stick to the cutting guide! good luck

Thanks Double for the input. I am back into the mindset of going hard - My back is fine now. I was in good, not great shape before my back got ****ed up - Not from training, but work related. Now that I am back I am going to get in the best shape of my life.

What happened that Diesel doesnt post here anymore, if you know?

He was a cool guy, and could b!tch anyone out when they needed that. Tended to like to b!tch in the anything else forum with some other guys over politics and stuff, and they ended up with some weird suspensions and stuff. I'm sure he just took his ego and left, since he was here to answer questions, and not really to find advice.
