I have a question about voting in Florida. I want to vote in the presidential primaries (first time voting ever) and I'm a resident but I'm not registered yet. Is it past the deadline already to register to vote in the primaries? Every time I try to find info on this I get different dates, so I'm really confused now

I won't say who I want to vote for because I don't want this to get closed as a political thread. Please don't turn this into a political thread, I don't want it to get closed.

No, it's not too late. I checked and the deadline is December 31st (source). The rule of thumb is you must be registered for at least 30 days before any election, hence the deadline is December 31st for a January 29th primary (the first of two primaries)(hence different deadlines). There are many places you can register to vote, as by law you can register at any place which provides public assistance.
