Question about online dating.

Hi Guys,

I thought I would take a leap onto Match.com to see what was out there. I have read the other messages concerning this site, and there really isn't that many good looking women. But, I thought what the hell and winked at a few 6s or 7s. I got one reply back from a maybe 7, can't make up my mind as 2 pics she looks good and one she doesn't. Anway, we have been e-mailing back and forth since yesterday afternoon. She is a bit young 23, I am 32. But she seems more mature, she has a good job, responsibilities etc.

So, I seem to be doing ok C&F and cracking jokes etc. I finally sent her a pic, because I am not going to waste my time if she doesn't like what I look like what is the point in continuing. The e-mail back she put her cell number and said call me for a chat if I would like.

How long should I wait before calling her? Do the same rules apply as if I got a number in a club or wherever.

Any advice would be cool.

The "rules" still apply, if that's what you want to call it. I prefer to call it "having a life" which has consequences that prevent you from calling immediately. But if you want to call them "rules," that's cool too.

As a side note, I'm *really* surprised that someone would respond to you without seeing a pic first. Your email game must be tight as hell-- congrats on that. I usually call two days later, but if they're getting at me through IM's every day, I might put it off a little longer.

Well DrZ, I belive I have slight advantage. I am an english guy living in the States. So, that is normally enough of an opener for girls to start talking to me. That is my opening gambit, once I have got past that then game on, it is entirely down to me to DJ them.

I agree, 1-2 days sounds good. I would not wait longre though, cuz she is constatly bombarded with emails and may lose interests in you due to competitin from other dudes if you wait too long.
