Question About Getting The Phone#

Ok, so there's this girl that works at the same place as me. I've never really talked to her before but I've noticed her checking me out quite a bit recently. I'm going to ask her for her number the next time I see her. The thing is, if she gives it to me, should I wait a few days to call her? Just seems like it might be weird if I get her number and then I see her at work the next day. She might wonder why I haven't called?

Getting the phone number and waiting a few days is ONLY a technique to be used if you know your chances of meeting her again is nil.

Since you work with her... why not just take her out to lunch... you pay yours, she pays hers... no threats, no commitments, just more intimacy. THEN you ask for the number if you're planning on taking her out post-work hours.

Thing about dating co-workers is, because you see each other every day, you can really afford to just sprinkle bits and pieces of charm and game, then just refract from her on other days. i.e. get her to laugh and really enjoy your company on one day, two days most... the next? Ignore her or even hide from her. Every day's a new surprise for her, even though she knows you're in the same building.

It's a funny paradox... but in order to keep attraction growing in a relationship... the closer you are, the more you have to play your distance.

Well it's not that I even really see her that often. I usually only see her on the weekends, and even then it's just in passing.

I'm assumming you already have good report with her, which should be easy since you'll see her at work every week. Next you want to talk to her and suggest something like lunch, then you can ask if she wants to do something like this again, if you charmed her right she'll say yes, now you have a reason to need her number, this is important, so now just say, "okay, just give me your number then and I'll let you know" You are both in complete understanding that you have a good reason to have her number and you need it, she'll comply.

i agree w/ cruise; but you only see her on the weekends for a brief moment. i suggest planning out what to say the next time you see her. i'm sure you can think of something slick, be it an interesting story, a ****y/funny statement, etc. i have cute girls in my class and i'm planning what to do and say. i'm not going for the kill immediately since i'll be interacting w/ them for months to come. maybe you might want to consider taking this approach

Dead on. Just remember anything that you do that she may not like may make work a little akward,you ask her our,she says no,someone hears about it,spreads like a wildfire.
