Question about deadlifts

When you guys deadlift, do you stand up between each rep?

IE: pull a rep, set bar down, stand up, then get back in position and pull another rep.

Or do you just pull 1 rep after another?

I usually just pull 1 rep after another and try to do them as fast as I can but I just read an article that says you should stand up between each rep.

you should stop before every rep - essentially every rep is a single but with only a few seconds rest between them. the bar must come to a dead stop, no bouncing back up.

you can stand up between reps if you want but it's not necessary as long as you make sure it's a 'dead' lift each rep

Doing them fast will just likely make you sloppy. I take another deep belly breath, quickly check my starting form, press my abs out hard, and pull.

Yep, your hands should always be holding the bar. At the bottom of the lift you can/should pause for a second or two.
