say i go biking for 2 hours. during that time i should burn about 1400+ calories. now heres where the question comes in: are those burned calories taken from carb and fat supplies in my body or can they be from the food i ate couple of hours ago?

i know its confusing, but in other words: is it possible for my body to burn a crapload of calories(1-2k) but not from the stored fat?

fat is the bodies reserve or extra rations. As long as there are other calories in your body from food you wont burn fat. Once those calories are exhausted you begin to burn fat. But dont get to careless, because if fat becomes the primary calories you body will slow down it's motobalisism. You must eat enough to keep muscle, and keep yout matobalism running smoothly but that will run out before your next meal so you can burn some fat away.
