I am currently on an SSRI anti depressent and one of the side effects is weight gain. So my question is, if i continue going to the gym, will this weight just turn into muscle? Or will it be a bad kind of weight gain?

Fat doesn't turn into muscle.

You could try doing cardio to burn it off but really you should see if your doctor can put you on an alternative medication without that side effect.

I forgot to add that I am 5-11 and about 135 pounds. So again, If i am trying to bulk up, gaining weight can't hurt right?

when people on this forum say 'bulk' they mean muscle, not fat. muscle is heavier than fat. no seratonin inhibitor will make you gain muscle, only fat. fat is just stored energy in the form of blubber. it has nothing to do with muscle or bulking. it is simply an unwanted byproduct of bulking - the calorie surplus required to effectively build muscle on a strength training program will overflow into some fat which can be kept at bay with cardiovascular exercise.
