I don't see anything wrong with it. I see it as a good thing. Temptation will always be there. Just because our society is so sin-laden doesn't give us an excuse to sin.

However I do agree with the pussification of our society and "daddy's girl" and all that crap. But h*ll, the way I see it, the more guys there are like that, the better I'm going to appear by raising my family right.

Man O Man, do not get me started on this topic. Since I am 4.8 billion years old I have a little history under my belt.

Several lives ago I worked in a home for kids ran by a church. The other churches of the same denomination in the region would send kids for a variety of reasons, homeless, parents in jail, abuse, etc.

Since I’ve never been the church-going type I was concerned that my “lack of morals” would be a problem there with all those pious Christians all over the place.

Here are some facts from my stay there:

40% of the girls were victims of sexual abuse at the hands of their Christian fathers.

ABOUT 10% OF THOSE FATHERS WERE MINISTERS.

I was nearly fired because little ole immoral me refused to take a girl for an abortion.

STD’s were rampant, and strangely enough some of the staff had the same STD’s as the kids.

I lasted 6months and got the hell out of there. And NO I did not partake of the festivities. That place was too seedy even for me.

So when I look at that wonderful smiling dad, I know for a fact that there’s disturbingly good odds he’s fvcking her and has the perfect cover.

True, but that's not a random sampling. Your sample is already basically the bottom of the barrel (kids sent to a home) - which then doesn't make those numbers surprising.

But honestly, this supports the theory on operative social conventions that most social and religious constraints are perpetuated by those who have the greatest to gain from them to ensure their happiness.

In this extreme case it becomes clear that father and mother don't want their daughter to have sex before marriage to keep her under tight psychological control so she can continue to support her family rather than leave them and run off with some boy.

Ever wonder why it is a mom's greatest fear for her daughter to start having sex? She doesn't want her kids to grow up and leave her.

I can just imagine 6 years later when they find out their daughter had sex.
