Pussed out on kiss close

First post here but needing some advice.

I had a girl over to my place and had escalated kino to a point where the kiss would have been a slam dunk. Great conversation, overall a great night. However, I failed to kiss close out of nervousness.

When would you guys make an attempt to correct this mistake and kiss close?

There doesn't need to be a right time if she is interested, you just have to do it. How about the next time you see her, when you go to her place to pick her up, the moment you see her you just say "Come here", put your arms around her and make out.
