Hi,

My protein shake is 350ml to be drunk in less than 5 minutes from mixing.

Drinking this much fluid so quickly makes me feel really queezy and I have to sit down for about an hour before I feel normal enough to do stuff again. It's having quite a bad affect on my life because I do this twice a day. I am of small stature/stomach capacity which may play into it.

Has anyone else had this experience? Do they really need to be drunk so fast?

Of course not, you can drink it over the course of the whole day if you want, and they don't need to be mixed with that much water. It might 'settle' a few minutes after mixing, in which case give it another good shake/mix and it'll be fine.

Or just eat some meat or eggs instead. :D

Well I guess you're trying to chug this thing pretty fast. Just sit your ass down with it in front of the tv like you do with a cup of coffee and drink it in your own time. Those time recommendations are BS. You just shouldn't be leaving it 3 days

i read up on it and no I never get sick with milk. As for chugging it...can't say it's something I do all that often. lol

Thanks for the feedback guys. Its a relief that I don't have to drink this stuff so fast.

I've used a lot of supplements, including protein shakes, and a lot of the time its something about a particular product that your body just doesn't like! It could be a particular flavoring agent, etc. I've used shakes where I had bad azz diarrhea for like 4-5 hours after...it was basically like pissing through your ass! Currently I use mutant mass by PVL, which is a weight gain shake. Basically down 750 calories and around 500 ml of volume in 5-10 minutes. I can tolerate it no problem.

I think you just need to find a good protein shake that agrees with you.

Dude, I know what you mean. When Im bulking, I make these shakes, and I just throw so many things into it that it routinely is 4 cups of liquid (close to 1000 mL). Sometimes Id drink that in a span of 5-6 minutes, and Id feel like I was gonna explode. Just take it in slower like over the course of 30 minutes or something.

Since we are on the subject of protein shakes if I blended a protein shake in the morning with a couple raw eggs will it still be fine to drink in a few hours if i stick it in the fridge at work?

Yep, that'd be perfectly fine.
