I cannot stand the taste of whey protein at all.

I like the taste of soy much better though.

Is there any negative side effects to taking the soy instead of whey?

Also, I bought protein powder from GNC. Think it's called GNC performance. The one with the red and black pircutre of the guy on the front. On the side when they say one scoop they mean just one scoop from the scooper they gave you right?

Read up on it. Whey is king, it's cheaper, absorbs faster and has higher bioavailability. How do you prepare it? You might want to throw it in a blender w/ some ice & flavor extract.

If you can't stand the taste, try Syntrax Nextar. Expensive as ****, but it tastes good, and it's whey protein.

By the way, alot of people seem to agree that the only GNC product worth buying is their multi-vitamins.

Get yourself some Gatorade, in powder form. Just put a teaspoon in, and you wont even taste the Whey.

Goodluck.

Stay away from GNC.

Their whey is probably much lower in taste then some of the other brands.

I personally like EAS's chocolate, but i don't know if they make it anymore. Optimum Nutrition's double rich chocolate is OK, but not as special as some make it out to be.

Recently I've heard excellent reviews about the brands Dymatize and Syntrax. Both have more unique flavors and all the Dymatize ones are supposedly very good.

Try www.muscleshoppe.com for supplements, on a 5lb jug of whey I still save 10 bucks even after shipping. If I order a few things at once I can easily save around 30 bucks off the store price.

Stay with whey.

It doesn't take an Einstein to work out ways to mask the taste completely.
