I am probably the greatest person I know. In fact I am pretty damn near perfect.

My only weakness is the fact that I have no sense of time and as a result, punctuality is not my strong suit. I am a Master Procrastinator!

Case in point, I was supposed to fly to Italy today, but I missed my flight. Wish there was someone I could blame, but its all my fault. Its not the first time it has happened either. I do sh!t like this all the time and it really pisses off my friends. Worst of all it makes me angry at myself.

How do I break this bad habit?

Anyone else deal with this problem?

thats whats called being a dumbass

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

holy **** man. I consider myself as one of the greatest procrastinaters that have grazed this planet, but I've never missed a flight. In fact I'm quite anal when it comes to appointments, but quite the oppiste when it comes to assignments, deadlines etc.

Write yourself notes. Keep a sheet of paper on it with things that you need to remember or things that need to get done. Make sure to put deadlines on there too. Try to make yourself look at the piece of paper every day, so it engraves the dates into your memory. Or just try a date book.

Your post may reveal more about you than you know.

One major reason why people procrastinate is the fear of failure. How can you not ever fail? Don't do anything.

Researchers have studied so called 'perfectionists' it is never attainable, therefore leads to major agnst through failiure or paralysis.

Embrace failure as a major component of success .
