Hahah ok so the subject title was a little queer sounding huh?

Anyways, I don't know what you guys out there do to "Spruce" yourself up and make yourself more noticable because LET'S FACE IT eventhough we are true MEN doesn't mean we can go out with cut jeans, dirty hair, an unshaved face and horrible breath just because a woman should find us attractive.

So I want to know some of your secrets, do any guys use kits out there? Is there any rules of thumb? Like buying certain things or colognes that work most effectively, or what really works out there. I want to know, do women like a guy with clean cut hair, nice clothes, nice tan, etc. etc. I want to know what one should do to make himself more presentable and to go into a room and have everyone just FEEL the aura of the man as he enters it.

Get back to me,

Mix

i feeling especially attractive today..
and have been feeling more attractive quite alot recently..

recent purchases which were a little bit different then normal.

diesel shoes $200+
gripp jeans $150+
ralph polo $100

add to that a new watch mum got me for my birthday thick leather band. and a new hat (i didn't wear watch or hat before hand) and i think it definently spiced things up for me and made me feel good.

but other things i've added over the last year, cleanser, toner, moisturiser. expensive eua de toilette or whatever its called. a trendy hair style. a confident walk. a vastly improved wardrobe.
and the compliments and confidence that comes with them has increased in bucketloads.

i really need to start working out again and working on a tan.

This needs to be answered in great detail and put into the DJ Bible. Quest you may be up for this. I'd like to know more about those things you mentioned, what they do, and where to get them.

hey, i can help here

Finally a post I may be of use in.

1. Ralph Lauren/Polo....but it has to be slim fit unless you are fat.
2. Diesel yes, also Doc Martins because they look dressy but make me from 6 ft to 6.1 foot without looking like they do.
3. Denim sometimes, but usually chinos, once again...slim fit, unless you are fat.
4. Belt, wide belt, not thin belt. Have a platinum or silver buckle but dressy not stupid.
5. Fedora..................................cant go wrong.
6. When you put on under arm, hit the small of your back, the upper thighs of your legs and the belt area of your dacks. Also spray some of your cologne there.
7. Dont use aftershave, use moisturizer, even just sorbalen but preferably Olay or something better.
8. Use cologne for odour only and use a body spray, not only on your skin but on your shirt.
9. Iron your shirt with an aromatic starch. If its not an iron shirt, still spray it.
10. If you have to wear a suit, get rid of the belt, dont buy off the rack and ensure it has real suspenders and a waist coat....once again, unless you are fat.
11. Hair, use a good aromatic mop, not gel or moose unless you have long hair. The wet look really is wet!
12. If wearing denim they have to be slim fit, as slim fit as possible....unless you are fat.
13. Put your cologne on your pulse and behind your ears just like girls do. These are pulse sights and help prolongue the aroma.
14. NO cheap brute 33, get Armais or above, when the aroma starts to fade, just dampen with water and it comes back to life.
14. Socks.........holproof electronic ones that stay up.
15. If you wear glasses get contacts, the ones that highlight your colour.
16. Teeth.......very important to women. If they aren't white, whiten them.
17. Jacket, if you wear one make it leather or swede but not bikey leather or green swede, use taste.
18. Watch...not a little sports watch, get a good watch but understated, not shouting at you.

Thats all I think of for now.

i don't think i'd be that much help..
i know that my old style was, cool brand name clothes at discount prices.
being a white australian, cool brand name clothes meant 'surfie clothes' billabong (which i understand is making ground in USA?), rip curl, quicksilver. but i'd just hit anything with xx% off didn't matter about colour or style.

retarded 15 year old!

that probably continued until i was maybe 19.. then i went shopping with my sister and she explained to me to have a little confidence and dress a bit better.

i did, and my mates gave me hell for it! this may sound like one of those, 'it happened to me, so it'll happen to you' stories, i can't gurantee that, but it did happen to me. took sisters advice, my mates paid out on me, and within a month, they were all asking for my advice.

my tastes matured and i decided that spending my money on clothes was actually investing my money in added confidence. i will never look back. i can now shop for myself and buy fashionable things which suit me.

i had trouble matching, never really knowing if this went with that or that, so my sister gave me some more advice, she suggested that i just buy 'earthy colours' so i did. and now i can wear pretty much anything with anything.

as u'll read in many posts hear, there is no 'set style' as sart wrote. but dress how u are, and u'll attract the type of girls that dig that style.

probably 6 months ago i would wear, jeans, nice casual shoes and a t-shirt.

now its evolved to nicer jeans, very nice casual shoes (diesels), a nice polo shirt. and to that i've added (and call me crazier for not doing it earlier) a belt, a watch and options such as a hat. i may get a peircing too.. prob just in the ear, still deciding.

for heading out on the town, i stick with, nice jeans, very nice casual shoes, nice polo shirt or nice long sleeved full button up shirt (its my personal opinion that short sleeved full button up shirts are extremely tacky) and i'd keep the belt/watch etc.

but remember there is no set standards for this. depends on your personality, your location and a bunch of other things. just be careful what u spend ur money on.

and remember.
$100 on a nice ralph polo
is far better then
$50 x 2 t-shirts which every other guy owns

girls do notice. the first night i wore my ralph polo i had atleast 10 compliments at a small 21st.

umm.... I'd wear whatever clothing makes my body look the best Labels are nice, but when it comes down to it, everyone has their favorite pair of pants and shirt that for some reason flatter your body... wear them.

I think the most important things are more cosmetic: clear skin, stylish hair, nice white teeth, minty fresh breath.

I cannot offer much advice on the former, other than saying that if you have incurable acne, Roaccutane does help a lot. For stylish hair splash out on a stylist-it is definitely worth it. For white teeth check out a cosmetic dentist for some teeth bleaching. For nice breath use mouthwash and chew gum.

Seems kinda expensive and metrosexual. If you got the cash, go ahead.

Go for what you're comfortable in, anyone with cash can go to Banana or Ambercrombie and get the hottest fashion but you too can emulate it by just window shopping and going somewhere cheaper to get something that looks close to it.

Most important, color matching and having good shoes/accessories is MOST important. Like a good/unique watch ... nice well kept shoes a must cause girls regard shoes as a piece of fashionable clothing while us guys just see it as a simple footwear.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

i'm not much of a clothings expert, so i'll give you guys my two cents worth on ccologne,

colognes i highly recommend for daily wear would be

1.Acqua Di Gio by Armani (a fruity favorite)

2.RoccoBarocco Jeans (rather inexpensive, yet it smells great, very urbane)

3.Crave by CK (very fruity, fresh, for the gym fragrance)

4.D'Issey by Issey Miyake (very unique spicy fragrance.. strong and stands out, value for money)

5.Weekend by Burberrys (muskish smell. rather nice)

here i recommend perfumes for use when heading out on the town

1.Romance by Ralph Lauren (very romantic frangrace, excuse the pun, but it stands out in a smoky room or bar amonst every other guy's cologne... its woodsy spicy)

2.Drakker Noir by Guy Laroche (spicy.. strong.. girls seem to love it, just don't add too much)

(my brain's not really thinking right now... will post more when i have the energy)

rising from the ashes
Cologne: 212, Jean Paul Gaultlier, Ralph Lauren/Blue, Chrome

Pants: Usually boot cut by Express, diesel, Mavi

Shirts: Kenneth Cole, French Connection, etc.

I prefer to wear a sleak pair of boots - Ken Cole usually

I wash & exfoliate my face which usually gives it a more radiant look. Nothing wrong with tanning either. I've a pair of Andis Edgers (professional corded trimmer) which defines my facial hair like no other trimmer i've used.

This is definitely great stuff :)

For the most part I feel I do a fair job of taking care of my appearance and extremities(odours and what not).

Do you guys use body washes, leave-in conditioners or do things like get manicures, go to spas or do like things women do. Ok now if some of you want to poke fun, you do that, but really I want to know what really gets women's attention OUTSIDE of face-to-face confrontation.

I know for me the best exfoliate I have purchased to date is that one from Nivea, it gives a really good scrub and it makes the skin super smooth.

Every opinion I've heard of Drakkar Noir can be summed up by this: 80s.

Seriously, this stuff probably wouldn't sell anymore if it weren't for the 45 year old hags drenched in makeup behind the fragrance counters who are oblivious to what is and isn't outdated.

why would people buy from overly made up HAGS if the cologne hasn't got anything going for it? its a classic.
