now i am in no way condoning the illegal use of meds here but...

i recently had my wisdom teeth removed and was given a script of 7.5 hydros. besides from making my pain go away and me feel wonderful i found that these meds actually made it easier and more enjoyable talk to girls...anyone for that matter. i found myself striking up conversations with random people everywhere i went while on them. and not like alcohol where you will talk to random people and just act like an idiot, but i actually had well thought out, intelligent conversations.
i am naturally fairly confident in my looks and personality but my confidence SOARED while on these. i felt like i could talk with anyone about anything. it actually seemed like more people approached and started conversations with me than usual(maybe that was in my head, idk.) this one older woman told me how cute i was literally 10-15 times while at dinner with my parents...probably the alcohol in her talking though.
everything just felt so perfect while on them. i didnt even have to think about what i was going to say next when speaking to girls, it just flowed out, and flowed out perfectly. two girls gave me their numbers today without me even asking or really trying to game them for that matter.
has anyone else ever had such experiences with hydrocodone (while prescribed it of course.)

i would absolutely love to take this stuff recreationally, but ive seen people go down that road and its a place i dont want to be. hopefully i will have a few more injuries requiring pain meds in the future! BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STUFF IF YOU EVER GET YOUR HANDS ON SOME. HIGHLY ADDICTING.

Your right its highly addicting. Best not to go looking for more after you run out.

Check out meditation, specifically active meditation. It focus on how to live(and more importantly feel) in the present moment. It is very similar to the feeling that pain meds give you. That relaxed confidence.

shows why so many people with legit jobs and careers fall for that one. They have to take it for a real reason, and bam. Look at Limbaugh... his job is TALKING and being confident/funny, etc.

Bad stuff that is. Stay away.

No revelation here; yes, opiates are addictive, and, yes, they make it easier to strike up small-talk with other people. I'd advise that one just stick to alcohol, though. Opiates' euphoria is unlike that of any other drug.

P.S.If you think hydrocodone is addictive, stay away from oxycodone.

ive had my experiences. i dont have an addictive personality because if i did i would already be ****ed. i just find it interesting how something meant for pain affects you psychologically.

Opiates give you a feeling of euphoria, stimulate the pleasure areas of your brain. They make you feel happy, energetic, and enthusiastic. No wonder they were good for your game.

Another drug they talk about a lot on the RSD forum is Adderall, an amphetamine given to people with ADD. Again, makes you feel energetic and enthusiastic. Or as they would say "puts you in state".

The problem with drugs like this is that if you start taking them regularly the effect wears off, the body gets used to metabolizing it, and you have to start taking more to get the same effect. Which can be damaging to the liver and kidneys. Ever hear people say they were addicted to pain pills, and at first they made them feel good, but now they have to take them just to feel normal?

The brain gets used to the extra neurotransmitter kick and when it's taken away you feel like garbage. So yeah, short term they may be fun, but long term it's best to stay away from them.

That sh!t may take the lead out of your pencil. Seriously, I knew a guy in my old neighborhood who was addicted to that. He was forever asking all of the neighbors if they would give him some. He really did have an addictive personality. Pathetic little fella. I took it after blowing out my knee playing basketball in college (ACL reconstruction). Made me a bit sick and I felt washed out after it wore off.
