What we all have in ourselves is a little humor. We can all be serious but we can also, at times, lose seriousness.

I find it that im most humorous when i am not conscious of myself and thinking about what i am doing. In fact, thats when i feel that i am the least funny.

However, when i am in a facetious state i usually am absorbed by the situation i am put in. My mind focuses on whats going on with my surroundings and that is when i am the most funny.

To be funny though you can't just say things that are funny to make people laugh. You have to have some sort of tone or attitude in you when you say it. This attitude for me is usually an enthusiastic (not OVERLY enthusiastic or you'll be the WACKY kind of funny), calm, confident and playful one.

WHen I have the playful attitude in mind and i am not self-conscious and my mind is totaly set on my surrroundings thats when i can be really funny. Sometimes i have trouble breaking that self-consciousness though. I'm sure we all do sometimes.

But when you practice getting that playful attitude and control of your mind you can make anybody laugh.... the more you try the more youll gradually reach your way into being funny.
But you must first take aim at the right direction.

One of the most important factor when delivering the punch line is the Tone in which you deliver it in.....you can keep stressin on this point but its importance cannot be conveyed through words.

The second factor is the timing. You have got to come out with a reply within seconds of the sentence.A joke,a witty one or a pun,all have to be delivered while the context to which it is made is still fresh in the mind of the group you are with.

Another plus is expressions. If you are really good makin goofy faces which will convey what you are tryin to put across, then it will add to the moment.Otherwise steer clear of the funny faces.

Another thing which is very important is resources. You HAVE to be knowledgable in many areas..or atleast have basic ideas about current events and important historical events, beacause most often than not, these do crop up during some conversations and you will have more than just expressions to rely upon.Shakespeare was an excellent author who relied more on pun than anything else and the reason why his plays did so well in those times were because of a good script...but more importantly,I believe that the calibre of actors he had in his play had a much more vital part to play in making the moment more funny than it already was.

Another thing which I almost forgot to mention are the various types of humor present...you have a dry sense of humor,a sarcastic one,a witty one, dirty humor....and each of these have their own prerequisites.

There are many other factors which go on in making a perosn "humorous"(for me, its more of an ingrained quality which is more finetuned in you than others)....but one can certainly improve upon himself in this area!

Iv been known to be funny. I have all kinds of humor, that work for me. If I get upset at something, Iv known people to laugh at me. I also take story's of something that happened and ad humor to it.

For example, I closed my head in my car window when I was backing down my driveway one night. I have electric windows. It was fogy out so I had my head out the window. I accidentally hit the window switch and it went up. Ones the window crunch my scull into the window frame I slammed on the breaks. I panicked, and couldn't find the down switch. I was hitting every other window switch instead. All four windows were going down, except the one my head was in. Then when I finally found the right switch, I ended up hitting it the wrong way. It crunched my head even worse. The head lights dimmed from all the power going to the window motor. I couldn't pull my head out. The window was lodged right under my chin. I couldn't even open my mouth.

It hurt so bad I couldn't believe it, but I finally did find the down switch. My buddy was sitting right there in the passenger seat. He asked..........are you all right? I almost hit him. The ride to the liquor store was mighty quiet let me tell ya.

This story is always funny. It always gets a good laugh. But it wasn't funny to me at the time.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Sometimes when I go to make EC/approach a girl, I get kind of that ridiculous 'butterflies in the stomach' feeling, and as I approach it just gets more and more intense, to the point where I'm repressing my urge to laugh out loud at my own silly inhibitions.

If you get that feeling, DO IT. Laughing at yourself severely relaxes you and loosens your approach. If not, at least you've got a big dumb smile on your face when you approach. :D

Having a funny story always can be helpful to make the girl laugh once you have started talking to her a little bit. Make sure she's doing a lot of the talking, but just tell her some **** that she will find funny and will make her laugh. If it's a story about you make sure it doesn't reveal too much, but otherwise, go for it. Make one up if you have to. This can work preety well in certain situations.
