Looking around on these forums i've seen these mines mentioned multiple times. Currently i am 19, this is the beginning of my second semester of college (i skipped a semester) and im completing classes that will result in a career in pharmacy. The job is i work roughly 4 days a week for 10 hours a day, get holidays and every second weekend off while the average starting salary is >100,000. But im still 5 years of school away from that
The holidays and everything off sound nice but it almost seems like the potash mines would be a better alternative, the only downside for me being im 19 and have no experience with heavy machinery or whatever else is involved. With that considered would it be wiser for me to say **** college and go bust my ass i the mines or stay in college and bust my ass doing schoolwork?
tldr: 19 with no qualifications for miner job except diploma, on track to become pharmacist - become miner for 5-10 years or stay in college
Oh and the whole "losing social circle" stuff ive heard should have no sway in any responses, you can always make new friends
