After todays lift I ate a can of tuna+cheesestick and 10 mins later a Cliff Builder Bar. My goal was to get basiclly high protien/low carbs/med fats. Is that good or should i be packing down everything, note I am trying to keep a low bf% even if overall weight gain is slower. I also may be buying Whey Gold Standard and taking that an hour after my lift, it's that or creatine and cycle it, but im not sure what would get me the best results. Thanks in advance for any help, im still new to this.

Have a large protein shake with water (65-70 grams) and 2 bananas.

This is just utter BS, trust me on this 60 grams min after workouts. It's also better to have more than less when it comes to protein anyway.

Lmfao, you really don't know when someone is joking do you heh. Of course it is not bloody 32.....

Everyone is unique and has different height/bf/metabolisms/genetics. Therefore the amount any one person can digest will vary wildly.

Having said that you are correct. More is better when it comes to protein and noone (little girls excluded) should be getting 30g pwo.

Either bulk or cut, do not get stuck in a middle ground. There is nobody with a good physique out there who did it by semi bulking/semi cutting. Either make the sacrifice to bulk and add a bit of fat in the process or don't. See you on the Olympia stage in 7-8 years mate. :)

I'm sure you agree minimal fat gain during weight gain is desirable!!!

Well I read it and I wasn't too sure what he was trying to preach. His first paragraph wasn't describing bulking but just getting fat as an excuse for bulking, then the 2nd half was about tredding on thin ice and gaining very slow and lean, almost similar to cutting but just a slight calorie surplus. IMO the best way to bulk is to bulk slowly for a long period of time, adding a bit of fat in the process as that's inevitable, then cutting for 2-3 months. I don't think you need to bother with too much cardio and whatnot, it just drains you for energy to be used in weightlifting sessions. Then again if you're doing 5 days weights and 1/2 days cardio like me, that's pretty damn active anyway. But I agree with healthy diet, little/no junk food and carb curbing.

Same with me, bananas have starchy and high GI carbs.

read about the anabolic diet, really easy way of staying lean while adding muscle
