I've recently been bit by a craving......

I WANT TO MAKE MONEY

And not just a modest amount, I want to make as much money as possible upwards of $100 grand a year. I'm sick of having to live on such a modest means and living on a weekly ****y pay check. The thing is Ive been very passive about money making in the past because of my fears of all things financial, I need to learn as much as I can about money making and I'll spend as much time as I need to, I'll do whatever it takes.

Can anybody post links to some GOOD websites that deal with how to make money. PS I've read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and I want to go a little more in depth than that, more into specifics. I'm in the middle of "Think and Grow Rich" and I've been inspired by that.......I'm lookin for alittle more of a specific direction towards Real Estate, Small Business running, Stock Marketing.... WHATEVER!! Any website that goes into a little more detail about money making would be great, also any good night class recommendations would be great too, Thanks.

you don't want to make money. You want money. It's a big difference. HUGE acutally.

You want the 5 million dollar house. you aren't willing to life in a 5000 shack to get there.

You are looking for a short cut to success. There is none. It takes hard work, dedication, sacrifice, will power, plus alot of ther qualities that are necessarly.

All of thoose aren't going to be found on a "site".. they are found within you.

No one who has worked as hard as they could has ever regretted it. They might have not LIKED it, but never regretted it.

People like you are a MLM's Dream. Get rich, outlandishly rich, in a matter of a months, maybe years. In all honestly, it really is possible, but hell it's possible I can win the lottery tomorrow. What note of achievement do I receive knowing i sell amway products really really well? **** that.

Find your passion, the money will take care of itself

Knowing what not to do is just as important. There are a million and one get rich quick schemes. I tried many of them when I was younger and more naive. They are all scams to lure greedy suckers. There is an inherent flaw in the idea of selling a business opportunity, because if it was so profitable, the company would engage in that business instead of peddling unrealistic expectations.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

Interesting... I'm currently cash flowing $124K/ Rolling 12 months in my MLM 'SCAM'... :nervous:

Don't let people's excuses for not succeeding be blamed on the 'system'. ALL systems work, if you actually work the system. :D

However, yes, AMWAY is a scam... ;)

Oh really?.....I posted this because I acknowledge I am very ignorant in the field of business and money making and have never had the priviledge of being surrounded by wealthy people enough to know how to START!!! Thats all I"m asking for you ****head, I"m not an egomaniac in any sense of the word. I'm not cheap, I'm don't play the lottery in hopes of winning big (in fact I've played it once in my life), I'm sure as **** not lazy, I'm just looking for some sense of direction as to how to go about making serious money. How do you know what I am willing or not wiling to do? I understand from previous posts you are very good at business and for that I applaud you, but you have no I idea where I'M coming from so stop lecturing me. I was just asking for a little direction.....

Thanks for the link Bible Belt, thats a good thing to be aware of

go into a financial advising career. Purely comission-based, you make as much money as you can b/c you're selling financial products. I'll be starting this career after I graduate in a week. You can make 6 figures in your first year if you're good, but its unlikely. If you make it in the business after 5 years, 95% of advisors are making 6 figures. After 10 years, you'll prolly be making $250+.

If you enjoy selling and like finance, i'd recommend this b/c it pays massive $$ depending on your motivation to work.

There's a little more to this, I'm sure. Do you engage in the sleazy tactics of most MLM people, like running ads in the "help wanted" section? "Just go to our meeting. All of your questions will be answered there. You are serious about making money, right?"

Or did you design a pyramid scam and place yourself at the top? That's a great deal until you make enough money to get enough people to complain to the cops so that you get arrested for fraud. If you are scamming people and making only a little money, the Feds don't care. But when they see assets that they can seize, they start caring.

ALL systems work, if you actually work the system.

Baloney! How can you spread such irresponsible garbage? There are a million schemes out there. Have you researched all of them? Back when I was a moron who dealt with people like you, I tried multiple MLM companies, chain letters, real estate foreclosures, all that crap, and it is just that, crap. The only money is made by fleecing greedy suckers. If you are making money at MLM, that's where it is coming from.

The get-rich-quick schemes anger me so much not because of my own lack of success at them. I usually made enough money to cover the cost of the "start-up" fee. But the real money is made scamming new people to join and getting a cut of their entrance fee, as well as selling overpriced training materials and seminars. That money is 100% profit, because there is no product involved. This stuff pisses me off because it preys on poor people who don't know any better and have given up on ever making money at a legitimate business or job.

$46,000 2nd Loan on a $111,000 RE property.
Investor offers $34,000. You sell for $30,000

You keep $4,000. What's fake about that?

dude...that's easier said than done. it took me 2 years to figure mine out. most people don't figure it out in their entire lifetimes. i consider myself very fortunate. and then there's those people who finally figure it when they're like 40-50.

there's a difference between wanting to making money and wanting to be super-wealthy.

there's plenty of people who have become rich due to just desire.

---------------------------------------------------------------

anyhow,

sup man...i've been sticking around the forum lately (anything else) lately.

1) try eBay. lots of people make a living off it. an idea is to buy items from closeout prices at places like Sears, or buy stuff on Craigslist, and sell them on eBay. usually peeople on Craigslist sell damn cheap because they don't want to bother selling online. or try newspaper ads. it will take some time and effort, but i can assure you it pays. my bro has been doing this for a while, and he sells phones and palms and makes a couple hundred a month just on the side. check out this question/answer from google answers about exactly this topic: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=478637. there's also books on this, just run a search on amazon.

2) right now, i invest about half of my monthly money in stocks. when i just started with stocks 4 years ago i didn't know a thing, tried to play penny stocks and lost around $3K. since that experience i've learned a ton. check out: www.investopedia.com

it will show a lot about stocks and investment. i even opened an ira for myself a little while ago. recently converted to a roth. these are all great things you can get started on that will help you out regardless.

3) try being a job in sales. learning to sell and getting experience is a great thing. learning to have to promote yourself or risk making no money...something i learned when i was doing a lot of freelance web/flash work. you really have to strive to make things happen, and you learn. try working as a car salesman. who knows you may just be really good at it and excel.

try getting a realtor license. sell one house and depending on how much it is you could make a nice amount of money. (although there are alot of costs associated with this occupation, so be wary it's not just a piece of cake)

4) make a unique blog and try google adwords. there's a few blogs out there that generate a few thousand dollars a day. yeah, no joke...just off of google adwords. i have talked to one person online who makes a couple hundred a day off of google adwords just because of high traffic to their blog.

i don't know, be creative and think of an ingenious blog.

5) read "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" by Peter Drucker. if you have ideas to start business or just plain ideas, this book gives you direction on how to focus your creative mind in business. the friend who rec'd to me has started and sold several very successful businesses. when reading it, it may seem like it's more for someone already in a company, but try to see it from your own perspective...it really gives great insight.

6) cafepress.com is another site where people make a living off of. you design apparel and certain items and sell them. i've designed a few t-shirts myself. this takes effort like anything else and isn't guaranteed, but you can make money off it.

above all, you have to be creative. nothing is stupid. and just because no one has thought of it, doesn't mean it won't work. give it a chance. i'm sure you're full of 'ideas' that you never gave a chance. everyone is. everyone has ideas...but only real entrepreneurs can make them happen. you have to have that desire. and passion is a plus, but not req'd.

a while ago some kid made a "milliondollar" website and sold pixel space for ads to 'make money for college' and made a million dollars...got a lot of buzz, not sure if you heard of it. here is the one i think: http://www.milliondollarwebpage.com/

such a freaking simple idea you'd think it's stupid, but he continues to make money from it.

hope that helps. i'll post again if i come up with more.

gl, hope you can work something out on the side

Waddup C-Legs, haha

Ya thats more than enough help thanks, I'm halfway through "Think and Grow Rich" and I guess thats what created this desire. I went home and looked at my broken computer, ****ty clothes, and small paycheck receipts and I though, "Damn, I can't live like this forever." I've been considering real estate and online businesses but first I think I"m gonna need to take some business classes or get some finiancial counseling or before I get started. BTW, this isn't some fleeting piece of inspiration either, I've wanted this forvever but never realized it until a few weeks ago. I"m gonna put the same desire I have for the gym and transmute it into making money.

It's good to have a real DJ on this site.....WB.
