Hi all, well I was busted for porn....again. This time my girlfriend wants to print some things off on my computer. I told her sure go ahead. I thought I had everything deleted. I was wrong, She searched through my **** and found more porn, then she confronts me about it and says that I lied to her because I told her I would stop. I also told her that I was not looking at it anymore before and she got the dates and everything and totally lit into me....mostly for lying. I told her she should not have been snooping around looking for stuff to bust me on, but she still thinks she is in the right. Also I have a weird fetish so to speak for the interracial stuff, and thats what she saw....I'm totally embarrassed, again, and this sucks. How do I get outta this one?

Basically, that's right. I'll tell you how to do it, assuming you're using windows XP.

first go to the Control Panel, and click on "User Accounts"
Select new account, and create a Limited Account.

This will create a new user account with its own "my documents" folder. It's only one layer of protection; If your girl is computer savvy, she can get past this

Next, you have to be using the NTFS file system. If you are, then go to Tools->folder options in the Windows Explorer, click on the View Tab, and uncheck Use Simple File Sharing.

Now you can set your porn folder so that only your account can access it. Right click on the folder, choose "properties", select "Sharing and Security", click the Security Tab, Click the Add.. button, then type the user's name exactly in the space. you will then have the ability to control that new user's access. Deny her all access and she won't be able to get in there, provided that she's working on her own account. You shouldn't name the folder "Porn" though, or she'd still see the name.

Oh, and you need to get a password on your screen saver so that she can't walk up to your screen and just use your account.

This will take a computer-savvy person about 10-15 minutes, maybe a little more for a newbie.

Then you said you'd stop..but she found more. She now is convinced you deliberatly lied to her. There is nothing you can say or do to get her to change her mind about it. This wedge is in too deep. Breaking up, now or later is the only outcome for the two of you.

If I was her Ide light your @$$ on fire too, not over the porn but over the lying. Never promise or guarantee a girl ANYTHING if you know you can't do it, and never ever lie AGAIN to cover to cover it up. Its just stupid and you will lose everytime you do it. Love is built on respect, and respect is built on TRUST and ADMIRATION. No one trusts or admires a liar.

Please tell me you are not grown. I dont think you are because if you were you would:

Not be lying about having porn.

Not be getting rid of your porn because she told you too.

Not be answering to anyone for having porn.

Not be asking how to "get out of anything" from a creature half your weight, size, speed, and strength.

I'm in the process of being divorced by such a person -- always snooping always trying to rule me. I guess she gave up.

You shouldn't have had to discuss your porn habits -- that's private. If she is on some crusade against porn, and you like the stuff, you two were never going to work out, because she'd always be snooping until she caught you.

Having someone always checking up on you is no fun -- I can tell you that from personal experience.
