This is what Pook writes in his book:
"Years ago, I was at my 'most natural state' when I would rant about philosophy, politics, economics, and so on.
As you can imagine, this bored the women (women want smart guys but not 'melancholy' filled philosophic guys). My actions were so 'intellectualized' that women saw through everything (or used me in some way)."
Do you think that "intellectual conversations" damage your chances with a woman? I guess there's some truth to it, since sexual attraction is primarily based on the physical connection between men and women, not on the mental connection.
I also witnessed quite often that those guys who are like "STFU" when somebody tries to initiate a deep conversation, are often successful with women. Their superficiality seems to be rewarded, which, I guess, is due to the fact that they are doers instead of dreamers.
