"Pook" on the radio? Real, fake, or is it my imagination?

Two weeks ago, I got up early on a Saturday morning and was driving over to the gym for a quick run before I started out my day.

I was listening to one of the Top40 radio stations and a woman called in to give a shout out to a guy named "Pook". To sum up what she said:

1) He cold approached her in a club.
2) Introduced himself and said that he went by the nickname "Pook"
3) Got her # (and she got his).

She says that she lost it...and was so intrigued by the guy that she had to call in the radio station to ask for help in locating this guy.

Now I don't know whether or not this guy is "THE" Pook that we know of, but I just don't think there are going to be many guys who go into a club, introduce themselves by the name of "Pook," and successfully cold-approaches a girl and gets her IL high enough for her to call a radio station to find him.

There is one info that she left that may confirm that it is him. She said that she is in Atlanta, Georgia. Does anyone know if Pook lives there? Maybe he was just visiting the area...but who knows, I'm curious and I gotta find out if anyone knows.

Pook has become the John Galt of the world of pickup.

Oh man, not only do we have a new thread about him every 5mins, now he also haunts us on the radio

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
I doubt the "Pook" on this forum is the first person EVER to use the nickname.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Last I heard from "Pook" he wasn't still running around practicing PU. Rather he had gone batsh!t insane from thinking too much. :p

"Pook" is more common than you may ordinarily assume. If you type "Pook" into google, you are greeted with 5.97 million hits. According to Urban Dictionary, "Pookie" is "A term of endearment used for a loved one. Often used when one is aroused sexually." Since he obviously borrowed his nickname from a common sexual term, it's not surprising a pickup artist in Atlanta would do the same.
