There are many DJ's out here that give out a good advice and many that give out a bad advice. Instead of having a title that tells everyone what is your rank based on the number of posts you write ie Senior Don Juan, Master Don Juan, why don't we give points to members who contribute the best quality of advice?

If the point system is too out there why not let the moderators highlight a good advice on each thread so that it will make it easier for newbies to know which advice they should follow more so then other advices.

Considering the fact that there are alot of retards visiting this site, it will just turn into a lobbying/wh*ring for points contest. Well, thats whats happened at some other sites with a point system. And furthermore, if you have more than two braincells you should be able to distinguish between good and bad advice.

Who knows what good or bad advice is? Some advice works for people. Then again the same advice won't work for someone else. So who's to say what bad advice really is?

Also if we had a rating system the mods would basically have to go around and view evey post that was posted each day. And we all know that the mods have such importaint DJ lives, so they wouldn't have the time. :p

Good idea....but to board. Most of the IMPORTAINT post are in the DJ bible. Look at the names, maybe that'll help you somewhat.

Exactly where I want to be.
I wish we could just make our own titles, regardless of how many posts we have.

1) There'd still be no reason to rack up posts.
2) Everyone's would be individualized and essentially irrelevent except for our own entertainment and witty outlets.
3) I could be "CableLight: Lord of the Dance" (suck it, Michael Flatley).

I just wish the post count thing could be done away with entirely. It's completely pointless, and you end up with people like (the former) Capi doing nothing but spamming the forums to boost up their rating, apparently increasing their "DJness" in his/her twisted mind.

people who care that much about their status on the forum are missing the main f'in point of it all - getting off your ass, going into the real world, and getting women!

Well most of us already know that post counts don't matter. More times than not people know whose advice they prefer to follow over others, high post count or not.
